I like to have dash on L2 and shooting on R2.
Only weapons worth using are peashooter and charged shot.
Use the invisible dash, not the 4 heart faggotry.

A fun game. Not too difficult on an absolute scale, but compared to most modern games it's on the hard end. You'll die, then learn from your mistakes and not die again. The game looks absolutely gorgeous.

The show was years ahead of its time.

Not being able to shoot while performing other actions is seriously incapacitating. Don't remember where the default dash is but you need to be able to do everything at the same time, which can't be done with the default controls unless you have some mutant with 3 thumbs. I'm not saying use the one I'm using, I'm just saying the default controls are fucking retarded and make the game really tedious. I just remember not being able to jump WHILE I keep shooting.
Well it's true. Charged shot is the best weapon in the game by far, and the peashooter is good enough for the entire game. All the other weapons are literally cancer and a waste of money.

Goddamn, do I suck ass at this game. Probably took me 20 minutes at least to beat the fucking bird boss. Although I didn't realize until my last attempt how much more effective it is dropping bombs instead of using the regular guns on the final stage. And then I watch someone like Vinny clearing bosses on his second or third attempt - kill me.

Same. Fucking same. Dunno why that simple fact eluded me but it took me well over thirty tries, I think. I'm tad suckier than most at these types of games.

Just got it myself.
Makes me want to come back to it all the time, even if it's kicking my ass. Not sure if I just have shitty reaction times or something but watching other people play it for the first time makes me feel like I'm even worse.

A health bar for bosses would've been a nice option. There's lots of times where I'm not totally sure whether my shots/ultimate is registering. And generally it'd be nice to know how much damage you're doing using different weapons so you don't waste your time like on that boss.

Is this game harder on console or PC? Or is it solely dependent on which you play more on?

As per usual. The music is okay but nothing to bother listening to. Odd boss fights are bullshit but fun once you learn them. It's weird. You can play a boss fight as many as 100 times and you might get 95% completion out of the 100 but as soon as you complete it it instantly becomes a piece of cake. Idk. Couldn't be arsed completing it tho

shit was powerful enough to 1 shot most annoying mobs, either way you face. and with the bosses the arena was small enough on 80% of them to hit them with it whichever way you face.

The only thing that feels like bs to me is when you have to use your ultimate on moving platforms and you end up getting stuck somewhere where you can't help getting hit.

It's the Darksouls of gun platformers (God I hate saying that) It is difficult till you learn patterns or indicators of when going to be attacked, then it is easy.
