At least that's how it comes across to me, and I don't own a switch. I've seen several games that I could imagine buying that've come out on the switch. Especially that new Blaster Master.

The only problem I have with Switch indie stuff is that physical releases are rare, so you have to download it into the Switch's tiny 32GB storage space, and buy new memory cards all the time if there's a lot of indie games you want.

I remember how someone claim to be a developer for Rime and all he did was complain about the costs of the cards. I called him out for simply trying to skim on the larger card's cost, and looking back, seems like I was right. It's clear they tried to pull the same bullshit as Ubisoft for Rayman. Seeing how many of these other indie games are able to pull off success as they didn't run like crap, I couldn't be happier. If you want to blame someone, blame the developers for over-compressing the files just to save a few cents.

To be fair, Ubisoft fixed Rayman with an update. The loading times were cut at least in half and it's always 60fps now.

Judging by Steamspy it needed less than 10k sales to achieve that.

Which really wouldn't be hard as the other console's versions ran just fine. They probably just reverted the files back to their original sizes, but by then, it was too late.
