What card to buy

So since bitcoin miners aren't going to stop soon, i think buying a 1080ti now is better than waiting 2 years for the bitcoin bubble to burst.

What are the manufacturers i should avoid to dont get scammed?, also whats a good motherboard that won't grenade itself?.

>buying a 1080ti now is better than waiting 2 years for the bitcoin bubble to burst.
He doesn't know yet

Wait what? what do you mean because I was gonna buy a 1080ti and i'm very clueless on the whole bitcoin and how it relates.

>Buying a card at this point, when the new ones are close to be announced.

>buy used 1080Ti from seller with receipt and original box, seller is most likely a crypto miner
>RMA the used 1080Ti for a brand new one using the receipt and box
i can't be the only one that does this

bubble burst a while ago.

just wait for the next series

also buy msi those gooks know how to make shit right

The bubble burst today.

I'm planning on buying myself a 1060 this week, how bad is the single fan versus the double one

Bitcoin had a huge drop today and most if not all of the exchanges are having trouble connecting with legitimate financial institutions so it's impossible to cash out of an exchange unless a bunch of people are cashing in. It's basically a more sophisticated pyramid scheme.

just spend a few more dollars for a 1070 dude. the difference is night and day

I don't know economics i'm just using it for games so does that mean the prices are going up for the card or down?

>few more

The 1070 is like $560 minimum here compared to the 1060 which hovers around $375, have mercy

Can I match the 1070 with the 8700 coffee lake? (no k)

the 1060 is just so much worse is all i'm saying. check out the benchmarks. better yet do this:
match whatever you like dude. but you might regret skimping on the K down the road. isn't an unlocked processor only like $10 more than a locked one?

>Close to be announced
>When nvidia just reveal their Titan V that isn't going to get released until 2019 because AMD wont do jackshit

Nvidia is working on a custom miner. GPUs will drop when that happens

ASICs already exist and any antminer is probably leagues better than some shit nvidia can wip together

Its literally $15.5k right now, it was some dumb kike that sold their shit wanting the bubble to burst, the price is going to recover in 2 days

...

BUY THE DIP
U
YOURE SUPPOSED TO BUY THE DIP

>yfw you got in to the game late

Card prices should be going down, most of the card mining price hike has been related to the recent mining boom in ethereum I believe, not bitcoin

LITECOIN IS NEXT YOU MOTHER FUCKERS
LITECOIN IS NEXT

>try to invest in btc back in the beginning of the year
>coinbase being shit won't let me buy anything
>calculate how much I would have made
>5 grand
>tfw

don't feel too bad. there are dudes that sold at $100, who would have hundreds of millions of dollars if they just held on, then they ended up killing themselves because of it. $5k isn't that bad if you think about it.

whats the point in paying more for a video card now?
what game are you in the rush to play?
do you absolutely need to play skyrim in 4k right now?

i5 7600 or ryzen 1600?
when I look at youtube benchmarks the i5 is almost all the time et 100% while the ryzen is at like 30%

why are you on this board

long term I'd think more cores will be better.

Buy now (or in a month, but actually do it instead of waiting forever) or bitch in a few years again. The chocie is yours

kek. did you get triggered because what I said was true?

1050 Ti is the bare minimum. Entry tier for 1080p. Nothing less.

1060 6gb is the mid tier. Beefy enough for anything in 1080p, some shit in 1440p

1070 runs anything in 1080p, mid tier card for 1440p

1080 Ti is le meme card for 4k meme shit and you're just wasting your money at this point.

He's right, you know

which cpu and gpu if i want to game on 1080 res
Mainly play WoW
please respond

how much longer can I make due with my 970?

how much longer will it play games at at least 1080p medium settings

thebottlenecker.com says that you should pair that CPU with a 1080 instead.

>It's basically a more sophisticated pyramid scheme.

The fact that people dont see this is why i will be laughing when these people kill themselves.

>WoW
Pretty much anything made within the last 4-5 years can max that on 1080p. Hell, you can actually do it on a lot of non-gaymur laptops even so you can take the game with you when going out.

>mfw I bought a 1060 for $160 last week on the Newegg sale

there is not enough cash for people to cash out resulting in the exchanges to be closed

200 billion was wiped out in a matter of hours in terms of market cap
