Mostly because it's fun. I enjoy clearing harder and harder songs the longer I keep at it and the sense of community at the arcade/internet cafe makes it so I can be That Guy around certain people and stare in awe at people who do crazy IIDX/SDVX shit and hope to one day reach that level.
