I subbed to both jontron and pewdiepie after they got all that bad press. didn't give a shit about them before all that, but now I watch all their stuff.

Kind of a simple brilliance. He starved his existing fans with his hiatus, and he waited long enough that the whole controversy is irrelevant now.

fucking H3H3 tried to put him on the spot on his podcast about it, when jon had obviously laid low to let it blow over. and when jon was like "i'd rather not bring this up again" h3 kept pushing and pushing, it even pissed off their fans who forgive them for everything. Everyone's gotten over jon's thing except the sort of people who hang out on neogaf or resetera.
