What games let me roleplay as a necromancer?
What games let me roleplay as a necromancer?
Dwarf Fortress adventurer mode.
that barely a game though
Opinion discarded.
Diablo 3
Let be real it's like a text adventure game
That's a lot of money to pay blizzard jews
...
Could try divinity original sin 2, the necro class isn't that necro-y though
Dungeon Keeper?
Tried that you are right it is not very necro
Modded skyrim does a shockingly good job
Its just that your summon AI is so bad it borders on worthless once you get a gaggle of skeletons
Any of them let you roleplay a necromancer. Very few let you be a necromancer.
ToME, it's an unlockable class.
What did you think of Secret of the Ancients? I think it's one of the best mainline campaigns, the maps are varied, creative and well designed. And unlike the other undead campaign you have reasons to use more than one unit type.
...
>It happens way too often that they just get lost and you never see a minion you gave a bunch of op to shit again.
What game will actually transform me into a necromancer?
Better question, what games allow me to become a lich
>ToME
What game is this? It looks so funking familiar
Tales of maj'eyal, battle for wesnoth
Warlords Battlecry 3
Tales of Maj'Eyal again. It's a high level necromancer skill.
This. It's good.
Shadow of War
>Shadow of War
I got bored with the first one did they improve?
Can I still use a skin to play as the bad guy?
The MC is pretty boring looking.
>That's a lot of money to pay blizzard jews
lolwut. I can get both base game + expansion for 40€ retail
Dominions 5 (or 4 if you're cheap since it's like $5 right now)
oh shit really? Last time it was 70$
Dominions.
Master of Magic if you don't mind really old (bud great) 4X game.
the game's old so it costs less. I browsed through a game collection at a store just yesterday and D3 is 20€ + 20€ for the expansion. Less than an AAA title BUT it's old now so you may not find many players if you want to play multi
Game improve's upon the first one in every regard, imo, but since the first one put you to sleep... I dunno.
MC gets a little bit more interesting but ghost pal steals the show anyway.
No skins around this time but you can get some edgy armor and become a spooky man at the end.
Why does no game let me fucking play like this?
Too complex for a beginner.
I'd say Conquest of Elysium 4 (plus mods) for somebody just starting in the universe.
Path of Exile lets you play necromancer and it even feels good. You have fine choice of skeletons, zombies, spectres and golems.
>recommending someone play CoE
user pls
see
It's probably closest you can get
Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Be sure to pick up all the DLCs for the full experience of playing a necromancer overlord!
Grim Dawn with Malmouth expansion
Diablo II
Unless Necro is bundled with that price, it's $15. Shit's not worth it anyways, so don't waste your money.
Nothin wrong with CoE4. It's a fine training bicycle for the insanity that is Dominions 5.
dungeons of dredmor
>dom 5
Ohh right thats a thing now.
How is it compared to 4? Seems pretty much the same besides a few minor additions.
I don't own it yet, but from what I've seen/read simultaneous movement and actual fortifications during siege battles are the biggest ones.
I know this is a little specific, but what single player games let me play as a badass bloodmage that uses HP instead of MP for casting spells?
the new bless system is good too. You can make some real monsters with the right combos of units and blesses
Dragon Age Origins, it's one of the most broken specializations, really good.
Everquest
...
The game is called Dungeons & Dragons.
Age of Wonders 3
All my friends arre fucking normies who only care about one uping each other because normal people have no fucking hobbies
Life of a Wizard
Is this an srpg?
I love tactical type combat too might just give it a raw fuck
Modded mountain blade
its a 4x game
A mix of 4x and fire emblem
but it has tactical combat as well. like the army stacks on the overview take up one tile but in the strategic combat phase it's more detailed with each unit taking one hex.
Divinity Original Sin 2, you can even play as a skeleton necromancer for maximum firepower.
They really are not that good necromancers in DO2
