it's because the Xbox used Nvidia graphics chipsets with proprietary drivers that nobody has been able to reverse-engineer. Several different models of chipsets over the life of the console, in fact, which makes it even harder.
The furthest any team has come was the cxbx team. They were trying to run code through an emulation later, like Wine on Linux, since the Xbox is just a glorified Win2000 PC. The furthest they got was getting Halo to the title screen, iirc.

IMO Killer7's art style still looks pretty gorgeous even when emulated, regardless if it was made jaggy on purpose or not. I highly doubt they'd change it when remastering.

Funny thing is that some small dev team wanted to reboot JSR and presented a visual proof-of-concept to Sega but Sega said no. Looking at the video, I can kinda see why. It doesn't really harness the style that made JSR great but rather sprinkles extra details for the sake of looking modern.

2 actually and yes you can play them without internet, these games are SUPER fun when you play them in local coop thats why I want them so fucking bad on PSN they could possibly even revive the online
