Why say goodbye OP? I have a PS4, but have turned my PS3 into a digital only exclusive and PSOne classic box. It now has a whole bunch of PSOne game, Yakuza, Persona 3, Arena ultimax and Demon’s Souls. It’s like a little retro box.

Dragons crown is getting an enhanced port for PS4 though with more content.
user maybe you can clear this up for me, i am told that NO PS3 games actually run in 1080p, but some stuff like Telken Tag 2 look so good... is it true do you know?

3D graphics based games on PS3 are definitely not 1080p unless they make use of a dyanmic resolution system like Wipeout HD.
But 2D games are more likely to run at 1080p like Odin sphere and those 2d Indies.
No its not. Most dont however. Not really noticeable or a big deal unless its a graphics intensive game. If you waited this long to switch I dont think you care enough for it to bother you.

Its not a huge deal, but i do find i now have a lot of games available on PS3 on my PS4 instead. Playing all the action shit RE in 1080p 60fps updated textures is kind of nice.

I own the PS3 version, it's native 720p. Your TV or HDMI hub may upscale the res to 1080p, but it's still being rendered internally at 720p.
i also have all my ps console in my room and i fire them up whenever i feel like it.

I got the Slim and noticed it worked leagues faster than my roommates OG PS4. The PS4 is def the more powerful console but I havent found enough games that run significantly better than on the slim

I think so? It's the one that came bundled with Battlefront 1. Most games run well, but FFV seems like it's running in 20~30 FPS at most times, and an insane amount of jaggies which feels weird.

Do you not have the option to prioritise frames over graphics on a regular PS4? You can on Pro, but Square is retarded and has the fps uncapped if you prioritize them.
On the back of the PS3 Japanese box it says NTSC 480p, 720p. No indication of 1080p.
PS4 version is 1080p and loads slightly faster because it's playing from a hard drive instead of a disc.

Conan - it's a very mediocre game by all means, but is the best conan game to date, I find it more enjoyable than GoW games, but be warned: last boss is the very definition of badgame design.

Hacked this shit not long ago even with having many physical copies and psn shit on my account and I'm don't even give a fuck, Skate and other shit that I haven't bought is damn too good
looking for some help if anyone has a ps tv/vita tv with their ps3. already asked on the vitagen vg thread but no help yet.
pstv won't turn on but it Solid white LED light when it is plugged in. gf bought it from thrift store. Sometimes after holding the power button down for 15-30 seconds it will blink once (its hit or miss as to when it blinks) but nothing comes up on the tv to rebuild or recover the system. i get no video on my tv at all.
Get Warhawk. Still the best PS3 game and somehow still has servers up 10 years later.
