I recently gave my Macbook Air to my mother since she needed a new computer and I've replaced most of my browsing with a 12.9" iPad Pro.

You won't be playing much but I was able to easily play most of the stuff I wanted.

I actually played LOL on the MacOS partition but everything else on a Windows 10 partition.

OpenEMU is a wrapper for emulators. It just runs other emulators inside itself, just like retroarch.

Macbook Pro would allow you to play light games, and have a nice well made notebook. Should be under your budget as well.

Otherwise you could always get the Dell Inspiron 7000 series so you could play games, or get a Surface Pro.

I'll be buying a Inspiron 7000 series when I move to Japan next year as I still want to have a laptop, but need it to at least play PUBG with my buddies.

I got one for my birthday and its good for indie games and even plays tf2 on it.just don't expect to be playing things like overwatch or anything

It will play Source games in macOS, as well as maybe Starcraft 2. Installing Windows will slightly expand what you can play but I wouldn't bother since the Air will still be shit.

No one has 1000+ shekels to spend on either of those things

Why do people always say mac is better for video editing? The best programs are on both PC and mac, but PCs have better hardware for HD playback, generally. What does mac offer that PC does not?

XPS 15 sucks. It honestly gave me new respect for macbook pros.

I bought a top of the line XPS 15 for $2100 and returned it a few weeks later. Coil whine, driver issues, pathetic speakers, etc. It cant even really play games well, and certainly not at 4k.

The bottom line is that you'll have to make a sacrifice somewhere
