Let me show my age here ... Nintendo 64 came out quite a long time after the PlayStation. After months/years of the watching the fucking 30-second long Playstation boot screen, the Nintendo 64 boot up was amazing. You literally flip a switch, then her a ding 0.5 seconds later. That's it. After suffering through thousands and thousands of drawn-out PlayStation boot-ups as it search and loaded the CD, that instant boot-up from the cartridge was by far the greatest boot screen ever made. And it was the last of its kind.
