Sony sale thread. Get any good gems? I just picked up Gravity Rush 1 for $12 bucks.
Sony sale thread. Get any good gems? I just picked up Gravity Rush 1 for $12 bucks
>consolefags
Imagine trying to browse through a large selection of titles on a controller
Debating picking up any of the following:
>Dishonored (9.99)
>FFXIII: Lightning Returns (11.99)
>MGS: Peace Walker (5.99)
Any of these worth it?
Imagine playing a game on peecee rather than just shitposting on Sup Forums while buying thousands of trash indies because no devs actually make games that take advantage of the perks of playing on peecee, or the 2000 dollar rigs you needed to play ports of console games / emulated games.
I can vouch that Dishonored is pretty damn good. I'd only get Peace Walker if you're really really into Metal Gear though.
No one cares, fuck off.
I didnt get anything. Bought South Park Fractured But Whole a few weeks ago and I've been playing that + Fortnite.
imagine exchanging real money for a single-user non-transferable rental license
Sleeping Dogs
Naruto Ninja Storm 4
Dragon's Dogma
All I have on my radar.
They can't delete a game from your device.
STFU FAGGOT
but they can prevent you from obtaining it again in the future
you're either very young or you have zero foresight
>deleting a game after downloading it
Sorry that I'm not a fickle teenager like you, who buys more than they can play
Give 10 dollars or I kill you.
>memeborne complete edition
>gravity rush 2
>crash bandicoot trilogy
>kingdom hearts bundle
this is what my gf and I got for her ps4 today. She needed some games to play. I got her nier auto and LA noire for xmas.
it was quite terrible. I'm convinced either the ps4 is just a slow piece of shit, or the wifi adapter is fucked up. the store literally will not load at times. I may take an Ethernet cord over there and see if it helps.
I've done the bare minimum googling, but can someone enlighten me on what Muramasa Rebirth is? Is it like a boss rush or a castlevania?
I only played LR for about 6 hours and despite the shitty graphics and crappy story - it was okay. I'd say it's worth maybe $6-10 though
Devil Summoner 2 is a prime example. I was so mad that I didn't play it.
Some sections of PW require grinding in order to get specific parts/better staff that build stuff. I got around this by playing with people online.
It's kind of a metroidvania. The art is fantastic and the gameplay is very fun.
Gravity rush 1 and 2
Guilty gear (shame I have to drop another 20 bucks to play as Baiken)
Nifty, I might blow 14 bucks
I got Yakuza 0, that's it so far. No idea what to expect.
That game is a fucking masterpiece. Probably the most underrated game released this year.
a game women will never understand
just picked up parappa 2, destroy all humans and psychonauts all for under $20. shit's cash, yo. i forgot how finicky some of the freestyle parts in parappa's vs. mode are, but otherwise i'm having a blast
Are battlefield hardline or 4 good? I got like 10 sony sheks left and was looking at them. Are either still active on PS4? And are the campaigns any good?
dead island definitive (and kind of remastered not just max settings) for about £3, absolute steal for the price, story is a bit meh but it's so fun
the handsome collection for about £10
probably going to get BF 1 because it's about £15
sorry, meant DAH 2
Is she ok?
I'm a girl and Yakuza is probably my 3rd favorite franchise behind DMC and Final Fantasy. Majima is best boy.
london?
Anyone know if this is the last week of the Holiday Sale? I can't buy anything. Don't get paid till next Friday.
Picked up metro redux and JoJo EoH, also is dragons dogma worthwhile? It's currently on sale and I've heard good things
Same guy who asked about Muramasa, what're you boys' thoughts on Guacamelee and Axiom Verge?
lots of stuff go till jan 9th. at least memeborne complete edition is.
I preferred battlefield 4 over hardline and BF, the community is still going strong last I checked. If your planning on getting any map pack, go for second assault
Yakuza 0
Gravity Rush 1
Bloodborne + DLC
How did I do?
Axiom Verge is amazing, even better if you're a metroid fan. Guacamelee was pretty fun too, cute little game.
Good haul lad
proud of you
All great games.
>also is dragons dogma worthwhile?
Yes and no. It's fun, but also extremely unfinished and really awkward in places. At that price tag it's probably worth it though.
Metro's pretty rad too, but it's short.
pretty gud imo senpai. I myself decided to skip gravity rush 1. I grabbed 2 instead. If I enjoy 2 I'll end up getting 1. The reviews I watched didn't make me feel I needed to get it.
>Guacamelee
I finished the PC version a few days ago. Overall pretty fun , expect 4-5 hours of gameplay. They actually made the game then hired a localization team for the extra Mexican touch (things like Toma Perro! and CUADRITO). Some replayability with hard mode but personally I don't think the game needs it, nor it deserves a second playthrough.
This game is plagued by lolmemes and epic references xd. It's like that one kid that tries way too hard to be funny and part of the club.
Haven't played Axium Verge, it's on my wishlist bit some reviews said its fun, not exactly memorable and sometimes frustrating since every room looks the same.
Play 1 first, man. The fuck are you doing?
Why the fuck would you own a PS4? Like, is it ironic? Its meant to be funny? lmao like just get a PC nigga ROFL
I feel like playing a sequel first is not only annoying in the sense of story, but regressing new mechanics and gameplay improvements feels kind shit.
I got what was on sale for PSVR, and so far, only played Mortal Blitz. I didn't know I missed Rail shooters until I played that game.
Still got 50 buckaroos left. Anything worth checking? All platforms welcome.
i sure enjoyed playing Bloodborne and yakuza on my PC. Can't forget my digimon game as well. Oh and gravity rush 2, Horizon: Zero Dawn, and Uncharted 4
How are the PC games like dota2, LoL, csgo?
destroy all humans and gravity rush 2 for me
>want to spend my 14 free trial on ps+ so I can get discounts on the christmas sale
>january free ps+ games are out and they are complete fucking SHIT
I'm torn.
I don't see anything interesting, sonybros
shh ignore him, PC gamers don't even play games
>tfw missed SFV with all the DLC for $30
Most of what interested me, I already own, puchased some few under 5 buck games that seemed decent, but still saving dosh for a big game, at a big discount.
One last stupid question, can someone give me a rundown on the two PS4 Yakuzas? I thought I heard Kiwami wasn't great, but it's the easiest way to play the 1st one.
I picked up a PS+ sub, Bloodborne, FF12, and Kingdom Hearts and have 20 dollars left over
Depends on how much you're going to spend. If you're just going to buy one game the discount will probably be 5 dollars max.
>DOOS SEX and Batman Telltale
Actually pretty good desu famalam. Don't get PS+ for the free games - the free games are 99% memes. Besides, they go away if your Plus expires anyways, so if you were just trying to use it to kike and quit, it doesn't work like that.
Its a side scrolling hack and slash. The base game can get repetitive. But they spiced it up by making an expansion DLC with 4 different playable characters aside from the original 2.
They also added new bosses.
But if you use it for getting discounts, you can still play those games, even if the sub expired.
The only way I can buy the games I want and fit the amount I can spend at the moment is with ps+, I already made the math.
So I guess I'm getting it anyway. Just disappointed that my bonus will be fucking batman telltale.
metal gear solid for the ps3. I saved 5 dollars. The game file said "PS3/PSP." Can it download to a PSP Vita?
How are the Ultimate Ninja Storm games? Tempted to pick up one of them but not sure which I should go for
Y0: Prequel, completely new game content from the previous games. Lots of fanservice for older fans
Kiwami: Yakuza 1 remake. Most of the content is ported over from Y0. Really annoying new feature that wasn't in the first game.
I played 2 on PS3, it was good, but it has no depth. The cinematic battles get old fast, but it's a good time killer if you're into animu games.
I bought Albedo. $1 with Plus. Easiest platinum I've ever scored.
Also bought grim Fandango and Omega Quintet
No they can't.
Hint: google around for P.T. and stop being ignorant retard
Any good drpg (blobber) on ps4 on sale?
From the Holiday Sale I've picked up
The Last Guardian
Gravity Rush Remastered
Gravity Rush 2
I was hoping for Until Dawn to also go on sale but no luck.
Until Dawn appeared on various sale by now, I'm sure it'll be back at 5 bucks soon enough.
4 is the best for animr fans/single player. You don't need Road to Boruto DLC unless you super fucking need to play as Boruto and Salad.
3 is the best mechanically if you have a big group of friends and want to do tournaments but less characters/stages.
I'd compare untildawn to the last of us in that it's better to watch than it is to play
To be honest, between starting Horizon: Frozen Wilds, picking up Bloodborne again cause there's a bunch of new players due to the sale and the MHW beta I doubt I'd have a chance to play it even if I bought it. I bought Persona 5 and Yakuza 0 from previous sales and I still haven't started them.
>I thought I heard Kiwami wasn't great
its not bad its just that compared to Yakuza Zero, its not that great because the lack of content and such. but thats pretty much the reason why kiwami launched at such a cheap price rather than $60. so honestly, i thought sega priced it fairly for what it had to offer.
also, it just goes to show that yakuza 1 wasnt that good to begin with. sure there were new featurs added in but still.
Possibly, I did not take much joys from being the one who make the choices, but I did enjoy seeing my friends wrapping their head about what to do.
I guess that's why Hidden Agenda exists.
Speaking of Yakuza, I am hearing really good things about Kiwami 2 but thats not a surprise considering the original Yakuza 2 still holds up even today
Unfortunately, there wasn't shit I wanted or didn't already have. I want to play something to bide my time until MHW but there ain't shit.
I bought Sly Cooper and Ratchet & Clank collections (both works on ps3/vita). How did I do? May get one of the Yakuza games on sale but never played any before. This will probably be the last things I buy for my PS3 since I've already picked up many of the other games in countless other sales.
The 9th is the last day. So you have one more week.
>Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition
>Batman Arkham Knight
Thinking about buying Guilty Gear Revelator, Thief, Journey and Lourdes of The Fallen
So, on the 2nd, they add more games, or the deals remain the same?
They'll add more.
Cant decide between bloodborne complete edition and kingdomhearts 1.5 what do
bloodborne
The PS4 Kingdom Hearts games are on sale physically for $25 at Best Buy, $20 if you have Gamers Club Unlocked.
You can use the browser storefront if you want.
>PS4
>Large selection of titles
I am laffin
All of them.
I got the Surge and Ex Machina, I like Souls, I like Ruiner, and I like Cyberpunk so they're a natural fit.
Battlefront 2 is half price, considering it..
WTF Gravity Rush 2 isn't on sale on the Au store how mean!
I paid $80 for it. Biggest mistake I’ve made in a long time.
I got it with my PS4 Slim for no extra charge, so i'm lucky. do yourself a favor, it's not even worth it at half price. The star card system makes multiplayer a chore, by the time you play it enough to get some good shit, all the joy is gone. If you see it for less than $15, sure, buy it. the game looks and sounds great, the campaign is passable, and it can be some good casual fun, but this is not like the star wars games of old. you get bored of it really quickly even if you play with friends.
...
I'm tempted to get need for speed payback
Minus the loot box bs which I'll fix that shit real quick with my save modder, is it worth it?
I got the first one for the first time ever and now I regret not buying it sooner. Minus the ass music, its Underground 3 in my eyes
Need for Speed payback is giving me Hot Pursuit 2 vibes
Psychonauts lags just an FYI
Port is kinda ass compared to the 360 one
fug, that was the only game under $3 that caught my eye. should I have gone with red faction 1 or 2 instead?
Ishmael how they play honestly
The ps2 ports are hit and miss
Bully runs better than ps2 but psychonauts doesn't
I'm scared for the inevitable persona and smt psn ports
This. By the time it is that cheap, (another year or so), the dlc will hopefully turn it into a good game. Single player is literally horrible.
