Some genius figured out that because of all sprays going into temp folders if seen in game, it can be used to put viruses into people's computer. It was part of the reason why sprays in pubs are invisible unless you saw it on a community server.

TF2's Medic is such a good character. If you aim the needle gun well you can also do incredibly well for yourself kill wise.

The game was bleeding a lot of players around the time the F2P update was coming up. The update actually saved the game from dying years ago by increasing the playerbase by a couple hundred thousand or so but as it was now a F2P game they started to increse the push for microtransaction shit as there wasn't a paywall for entry anymore. I say the thing that truly ruined the game was when Robin Walker left the team and the game went on complete dev autopilot while Dota 2 became the more played game.

Among other things, in my opinion TF2's downfall began not only with Mannconomy but also the first batch of community items

Ironically the Banana is the best weapon to come out of the Pyro update

VSH was the only game mode worth playing, and that was a community project.

Valve severely damaged the game by killing community servers, the big offenders like Skial found ways to circumvent the detection systems anyway.

Just another product of Valve's failures to address something with an automated process.
