4 is good but there are 4 characters so story doesn't feel focused even though they're all connected. First 3 games have great final bosses but all of 4 final boss in 4 feel like mini bosses
5 is shit except kiryu/akiyama parts and the final boss

No one likes 5 because the game's super long, spread through 5 cities with 5 characters and an ultra convoluted story like never before but I like it a lot because you fight a bear, drive a taxi, go hunting, the idol gameplay is very fun, in fact, it's even better than IdoMaster and all that shit. Yakuza 5 is a massive game indeed but at the same time that was also its downfall... To some people because to me Yakuza 5 was an excellent game.
