I've played since the first ps2 game, the two psp games and one of the ds games. I just can't be excited about anymore which is a shame because it's about to become what it should have always been.
Not to mention that MHW has been off and on number one on Amazon JP, Playstation Japan, and most Japanese electronics retailer top sellers since pre-orders started.
The only thing that dethroned MHW was the release of Mario Odyssey, and even that was short lived.
The scariest reality is that it's been top 5 in France for a while now.

PC version will only sell well if it attracts the souls crowd unfortunately; and without the RAGE so HARD meme and the sickest PVP twitchbait I don't know if that would even be a thing. Monster Hunter's basic satisfaction loop is pretty much satisfied on PC by MMOs.
Soulsfags arent the only crowd on pc,and it doesnt have to sell billions.

This isn't going to appeal to the early access crafter/survival crowd, it has no PVP appeal, it's main satisfaction loop is grinding out gear and weapons which is largely satiated by the over abundance of MMOs, it isn't GTA, and it isn't being marketed as some super hard gonna kill you game.
It's basically got nothing that will appeal to the PC crowd that buys games.

Release date is just set to "TBA" and why would the community already be dedicated on consoles? Sure everyone will be playing or already played it but there are people like myself who will move from PS4 to PC when it's released. I plan on playing both versions because I have friends on both sides.
The Japan audience will keep the PS4 userbase solid though for years to come as there are no plans to release MHW on PC or XBONE over there since neither really exists in Japan.

The entire game definitely is casualized and you can tell from lack of G Rank it's going to be easy as shit, but nobody here even really played the games so it will be ignored. It's Tri 2.0
I don't know about pro, but it definitely was mostly above 30 on my PS4 slim. It hit 60 sometimes, it was weird actually. I think they might have made the framerate slightly smoother in the second round of the beta (even though it was still perfectly fine the first time).
A lot of Tri's cast that returned later got nerfed though. 3rd was babby-tier
