No it wasn't. It was as cringey as Sonic shit, the worst offender in videogame music history.
Lyrics need to stay out of games. The voices interfere with dialogue and the interactive nature of videogames and causes only to distract and muddy the soundscape.
It's also embarrassing as fuck and requires that the TV be muted the moment another human approaches. Again, this helped lead to the downfall of Sonic.
If you must, it needs to be vague jibberish like Splatoon.
Orchestral/instrumental only otherwise.

Original song with original lyrics can actaully make a great game amazing, but it's also a hit or miss -situation. It can also backfire in a bad way.
But I imagine western devs don't generally do it because they just want a movie score so that the dumb cattle playing the game associates the game with their favorite movie and starts liking it more. Or I imagine that's how the suits in charge view the situation anyway.
