There hasn't really been an actual good villain recently (normie pick Handsome Jack, lol) but Hades in Kid Icarus has been the best villain in the past ten years.

Coincidentally, Liquid was my first ever favorite villain, he had some good potential, but something tells me it would all be squandered had he lived, cause he wasn't in a good position to be a manipulator as Ocelot.
These days I am more appreciative of Wesker, shame he too is toast, although if there is something video games taught me is that no one is really dead until you see their corpse, and even then there is a chance if he is popular enough.

Whats wrong with Handsome Jack? I didnt finish BL2, but he seems fun enough to be an entertaining villain. Only reason anyone would claim otherwise would be an extreme sense of snowflakism in which just because the game is popular it means everything in it must be disliked.
