if you are not planning to make any decent contributions I'll have to ask you to stay out of this thread pardner

Anyone know of any good metroidvanias, roguelikes/lites or regular RPGs with online coop that you can sink a lot of hours in?

I tried Throne of Lies but it wasn't for me, refunded it pretty quickly after 3 or so games. I don't like how bloated it is in terms of roles that everyone has 3 or so passives and abilities total.

Are you by any chance new to the genre? Or are you a experienced player of mafia games such as epicmafia and Town of Salem? Many newbies often complain about games being too complex or bloated, but you get used to it quickly.

L.A. Noire. Noice.

Any recommendations?

Thinking of a shooter. PUBG or Rainbow Six Siege (pls no meme answers)

can someone recommend me a fun game

I already know about the seven great fun games, wondering if there is any other fun game outside of these seven (yeah yeah I know probably not)

What do I buy/not buy ?

>EDF
If you are up for repetitive experiences

>Subnautica
It's still incomplete, I wouldn't play it until it is released

What are some fun steam games that i can run on a toaster?

seconding this

Played a lot of epicmafia and Starcraft 2 Mafia some years ago so I'm familiar with the genre. I feel like the roles are a lot more straight-forward in epicmafia than in Throne of Lies.

PUBG by a long shot, a lot more fun and less frustrating than Siege (with friends, from my experience). I dislike how Siege does new content: you can play the new maps and unlock the new operators by playing, but it's a huge grind if you don't pay money for it. I feel like it's a glorified version of a subscription based game where they try to heavily incentivize you to by those "Year X" passes.

Don't get TWD, it's gotten worse with every iteration.
Haven't played Blackwake myself but seems like it would get stale quickly and will die out in a couple of months (once it gets released).

L.A Noire is going to break you computer you should not buy it, it broke me and my friends xbox 360's.

>It's still incomplete, I wouldn't play it until it is released
I heard it just got a graphics update, more or less complete than dayz/ark ?

M&B Warband, FTL, Phantom Breaker, Beat Hazard

>Don't get TWD, it's gotten worse with every iteration.
Not even to finish the story? Yeah Blackwake looks shockingly barren, I just like pirates

What the heck does that mean?
>Played a lot of epicmafia and Starcraft 2 Mafia some years ago so I'm familiar with the genre
Eh, weird, then you should be used to the real deal. Guess there's something wrong with the game, I'll keep that in mind. Thanks user. Do you have any recommendations?

The thing with Subnautica is that it is very story focused, and the story itself is not entirely finished, so you will not have the full experience. Even worse, you'll need to restart when the full experience is out, and the game is a very slow grind. Besides, not all monsters are currently released. It's your typical early access mess, except for this one might actually release in 2018.

Anyone have an unwanted copy of Lightning returns ready to gift..

It was the first ever 2 discs game and so it broke a lot of 360's it breaks PC's too.

>FTL
Is that actually good? I might give it a try

TWD: It's not that amazing so if you don't mind watching someone else play it I'd recommend that.

I agree though, there aren't any great larger/modern pirate games (not sure how Sea of Thieves will turn out, probably a blunder too).

Aside from the interfaces/menus being pretty garbage, it's just the bloated nature of it. I do like some things they did, for example the log having a template for every night to track activity. The idea is kind of cool with Kings n shit but most characters having a passive of some sort with multiple abilities for night/day just makes it convoluted and too complex in my opinion. There's nothing wrong with a simple game of Mafia. Maybe I missed an option to play an easier setup, but it definitely doesn't do it for me.

Makes me wonder how Mafia kind of games do on Steam, Town of Salem was popular a while back but I've never tried it myself.

Any preferences in games or is anything fine with you? Hard to recommend some games otherwise.

so far ive bought the half minute hero bundle, borthers in arms collection, downwell, strikey sisters and lara croft guardian of light

waiting for mah paycheck to buy xcom 2 war of the chosen and i think thats all

are panzer corps and heroes of might and magic V good?

Yeah, I liked it and I don't like space as a setting or roguelikes, I do like levelling up and upgrading shit like an RPG though, going human supremacist or bioware esque multi-racial is interesting too, it does look really fucking boring if you watch gameplay on youtube though

>TWD: It's not that amazing so if you don't mind watching someone else play it I'd recommend that.
I don't watch streamers, who is the most tolerable? I'll see if I can stomach one, if not I might wait for it to drop to under £5

Prepping up my VR library. Definitely getting Rez/Thumper, unsure about the rest, mostly because I already beat the shit out of the Sams (RIP Serious Saturdays with Sup Forums), and Superhot is pretty fucking expensive for how short it is.

Hollow Knight or Pyre?
I need to choose one of those

Mega Man Legacy 1+2
NeuroVoider
Dead Cells
Space Beast Terror Fright
Opinions on those? Also, does anyone have any recommendations for an RPG where you can build up a home base or something similar?

How is Deus Ex HR Directors Cut?

I heard that the Directors Cut was in some ways a downgrade over the original.

I haven't played it but I played the original Deus Ex a couple of weeks ago.

Subnautica is like one update away from being complete

Hard to say since I watch some pretty retarded but fun streamers. I'd say just buy it at another time when it's maybe more discounted since you're definitely not missing out if you don't play it.

I've played Pyre, it's not like other Supergiant Games at all; it's very story-driven VN with choices and sports game to round it up. I liked it but if you don't like reading or Supergiant Games in general I'd just get Hollow Knight.

I like games about murder mystery solving but I probably already exploited everything the genre had to fofer.

Subnautica is slated for january as far as i know, would recommend.
Only thing missing is the final end sequence.

>Hollow knight or
Boi, there is no choice here.

The directors cut improves every aspect of the original like killing bosses with stealth etc, what's the downgrade there ?

Only thing that comes to mind aside from Mafia-like games would be The Sexy Brutale. Apparently it's a single player game about murder solving and prevention of these murders, but I haven't played it myself so take this with a grain of salt.

i think it introduced some glitches that were patched out already in the original, but from what i understand, everything else is the same, and it includes the missing link dlc

>liked sherlock holmes crimes and punishment
>thinking about getting sherlock holmes the devils daughter
>so many negative reviews
whats up with it? is it good?

I don't claim to be an expert (since I haven't played it) but I heard things about numerous bugs and glitches being introduced that wasn't in the original release.

Tropico 5 complete bundle or Tropico 4 ?complete bundle + Banished?

not too exciting or discounted. already got the other stuff I was trying to get on sale. 150+ hours in stardew but I wanted multiplayer access so that's the only reason its in the cart.

It's either this or I wait a month and buy FighterZ with the steam buckeroos I was gifted.

I just bought Sengoku Jidai and Duck Game. This is in addition to a number of shits I bought a few days ago which I already forget.

I haven't really played wargames at all, so I'm looking forward to trying Sengoku and then pirating other titles from Byzantine if I end up liking it. Pike & Shot and Field of Glory 2 both look neat and should play basically the same, and I've just found out about 40K Sanctus Reach. All small-file high-playtime games for my tiny, tiny SSD.

If you're interested in FighterZ I'd wait for it. It's going to be pretty fuckin hype.

I've never touched a DOOM game, thinking about picking up the classics. Anything I need to do mod wise to make it better?

The Steam versions of the old doom games use DOSbox which is a pretty shitty solution.

You would get a much better experience using a source port like GZDoom which supports widescreen and full mouse look, or Chocolate Doom (if you want an experience that is 99% as close to the original Doom experience as possible).

Most roguelikes/roguelites are low-req and offer a lot of playtime for the money, so you can save up for a better PC.

Monolith is extremely good and extremely easy to run. I pick up a lot of RLs because I have a disease, but if you had to pick one it should be this. It's five bucks.

light google search says I still need to buy it for GZDoom, GOG or Steam?

why is the bundle with more shit worth less than the other? Also is this a good deal, I've never played the dlc for mankind divided or the fall

There should be a million places to grab the WADs for free. They are small enough you needn't even torrent them. You know, id already more than made their money on this game. Steal the WADs and send a few bucks to the GZDoom guys.

>are panzer corps and heroes of might and magic V good?

ANSWER ME, YOU WORTHLESS SACKS OF SCUM

>Only thing missing is the final end sequence
And actual optimization

FighterZ has enough hype around it that it'll be worth the wait, even if they playerbase is only booming for a couple of months. A bit of a scene is already developing around the demos that went out to some cons and shit so that's a good sign.

>$0.97

shit, this is like lifting a rock in a jungle towards you, is there a good guide or picture or something?

Can somebody explain to me why the fuck The Ringed City DLC isn't discounted? That's literally all I want to buy on this sale.

GIVE ME A COMFY RPG NOW
NOW FAGGOT

Anything else I should get? I have the Bioshocks the Resident Evils, the Telltales, I like those kind of games.

Dragon's Dogma
Dragons Age Origins

Just google "wad collection"

Make sure SafeSearch is on if your mom is there.

I ALREADY HAVE THOSE NIGGA
TRY AGAIN

give me recs

Do I pull the trigger?

Post any amount of favorite games, get recommendations

I'll start

>Ace Attorney
>Zero Escape
>Ghost Trick
>Fire Emblem
>Rune Factory 4
>Terraria
>Stardew Valley

Dunno about Pyre but Talos Principle is arguably a perfect game.

Are those your favorite games?

Yes?...

any recs?

is "Everything" worth buying because it looks like a three hour game, anyone care to enlighten me

Ori is great and Hollow Knight is pretty fun too, though I'm stuck on the fucking Soul Master because I suck. Dunno abou the other ones.

i'm 89 cents short :(

If you don't mind reading and like Supergiant Games then Pyre will be enjoyable. The narrative is pretty great and some parts are just breath-taking, they do some really good soundtracks and environments.

Cross Code

Tits (Trails in the Sky)

>If you don't mind reading and like Supergiant Games then Pyre will be enjoyable.

I disagree. The ball sport that comprises the gameplay is horrible and not-fun

they keep going backwards each game from a gameplay perspective, not admirable. with supergiant you can be sure now that Bastion was an accident.

Alright, cheers lads.

Took a bit of time but increasing difficulty and getting used to the control scheme made it a lot more enjoyable than I initially thought.

Opinion on Oneshot?

Wonderful, just what I wanted, God bless you.

Enjoy user. First time I've felt like I was playing an actual SNES game since the SNES.

Still only have Hollow Knight, Resident Evil HD, and Nex Machina. Was considering Darkest Dungeon, Morrowind, or an only FPS or weeaboo waifu game. I just want to big huge time sink

seconding the recommendation, if you enjoy solving murders, prosecuting criminals or just being a witness that has to lie without being caught.

>autistic roleplaying shit

jesus christ

Darkest Dungeon is quite the grind.

not a time sink though because you might hate playing it

what about something like rimworld or prison architect

the fuck is R$?

Republican dollars?

brazilian rocks

Rebellion Credits.

Real

they are temers and soon to be bolsonaros

>Soul master
>Spend the first few minutes of the fight learning his pattern without trying to damage him.
>Proceed to stomp him into the ground after you realise it's predictable as shit.
Dashmaster and Long nail are your friends if you're having trouble.

It's got an interesting twist 5 minutes in, the puzzles are simplistic but fun and the story has some pretty heavy themes throughout.
Definitely reccommend.

Talk me out of buying games

No man's sky.

So many improvements made to this game. I'ts not even the same game we all hated.

No.

Any other cheap might be fun games?

I don't think I am autistic enough to enjoy either of those games

sure Todd
