What do you expect from these games?

The Kirby game looks fun but the Yoshi one looks meh as fuck

I expect to be able to breeze through them like every other entry in the series.

I'm worried the new Kirby game's final boss may not be able to top Star Dream.

I forgot the switch Yoshi game was even happening. Kirby looks like more of the same old shit.

Kirby looks fucking great.

Yoshi looks awful but then again so did Wooly World when they first showed it off and now it's the only other Yoshi game besides the SNES one that's worth anything.

Yoshi switch will probably Woolly World-tier considering Good-Feel is working on it.
Kirby, I expect Dream Land 3 callbacks considering the pattern most games have, though it may pull a RtDL be more subtle. Not sure how robust the combination abilities will be but so far, it seems like the least gimmicky of the newer games (though there might be a gimmick waiting in the wings).
Kinda curious how they'll handle extra mode. Since Dedede is apparently a boss and there's a focus on partners, will we simply get a standard Extra mode, or will there be a Helper-To-Hero reference somewhere?

i expect star allies to be everything we expected from GCN and then some
kirby is an instant buy, easily

>fun
I'm going to be honest with you. But I like to be challenged. Mario games were always easy as fuck. But I moved on to romhacks. Because I'm an adult. I don't want to pay 60 bucks for 1 hard post-game level I have to 'earn' unlocking first.

Yoshi looks alright. Not digging the art style, but other than that the game looks like it could be fine.
Kirby Star Allies is concerning. I’ve been a fan of the series for years but am slowly losing interest in the attributes of Kirby games that are becoming predictable. Maybe it won’t be so bad, but I’m concerned it will be just as flawed as the last handful of games.

As long as Yoshi is as good as Wooly World, I'll be fine with it.

Such a solid platformer.

I can't get excited about these because they're not worth $79 syrup bucks and that's what Nintendo is going to sell them for. I would love to play them, but can't justify the price. It's silly to pay this much for games that you'll probably beat in five hours and never play again. I have 135 hours in BotW so far.

There will definitely be a Helper to Hero mode since all the helpers are playable again. An extra mode could star Bandana Waddle Dee, which would make sense thematically since he's a technically a helper, too.

Honestly I'm just expecting the same old piss-easy platformers. I'll save my $60 for Prime 4.

The same, I would pay $30-$40 for them but it's gonna be full price

> the Yoshi one looks meh as fuck
The Yoshi one looks fucking awful, actually.

Opposite opinion for me. Wooly World was one of the most pleasant surprises I've ever played and turned me into a 100%fag, something I almost never bother with. It seems like just last week we needed Kirby to go back to basics but now it feels like the franchise needs a shot in the arm. The fully 3D Kirby game must happen soon.

They look like they are for 6-10 year olds. Are you part of the manbaby demographic?

Too bad no final boss in the series can even touch Nightmare.

This but I do wonder what videogames you do play as they're all quite for that audience aside from fotm PC games.

Presentation and mechanics are two entirely different things.

I want Yoshi's Story 2 and Kirby 64: Crystal Shard 2

YWW looked fine.
This looks slow as shit and with the 2 planes gimmick ramped up to obnoxious levels.
Why couldn't Good Feel make a Wario game instead?

I play Zelda and MHXX...can't say I'm not guilty of playing games for a younger audience but Yoshi and Kirby are a whole other level

The mechanics of the games are for children as well. They are made for thode who have nevet played a platformer before.

Zelda and Monhun are fine. I also don't get people's obsession with the games in the OP and shit like Splatoon. If only these games were good or something then I could see why adults might like them but shit man they just are for little children I can't help but wonder what goes through these people's heads
