STOP BLOWING UP THE FUCKING GATE
STOP BLOWING UP THE FUCKING GATE
>it's a snowspeeder mission
GEE
I WONDER WHAT WILL HAPPEN
sometimes i wonder if im the only one who even remembers Force Commander
Walkers aren't even the problem in that level. It's those fucking tanks
I remember it being not very good.
Didn't the gold medal require all the AT-PTs to survive? I remember this being one of two or three golds I didn't get.
>homing missiles your ship
>start mission
>instantly die
What the FUCK was Factor 5 thinking?
>still waiting for Star Wars Attack of clones (2002 game) for steam
>the one with mostly vehicle combat.
I'm playing this level right now. You need speedrunner levels of efficiency to keep all those shitty walkers alive. What the fuck were these rebels thinking stealing those shitboxes?
That was a decent game.
I beat it right after making the thread. Had all the gold requirements except for the fact I didn't realize there was a bonus item to be found.
Swiggity swooty, i'm coming for that booty.
Did you get Gold on Prisons of Kessel yet?
>could never beat wedge at beggar's canyon as a kid
>beating wedge first try
feels fucking good
Not yet. I just beat the main story and now I'm going back to find the bonus items I may have missed.
I actually managed to fly over part the course to beat Wedge without getting DQ'd
I never did get gold there as a kid. I guess you have to wait on blowing up some buildings so stormtroopers come out.
You're probably thinking of Mos Eisley. Beggar's Canyon is just you racing a different pilot.
Yeah, there's a place where you can fly over that cuts out a pretty nasty curve towards the end.
>tfw no womprats to bullseye before the race
I was taking about Prisons of Kessel again.
Ah my bad
God this mission was shit. I swear those AT-PTs had the hitpoints of a tie fighter.
SOMEONE'S CHEATING OUT THERE!
ROGUE SQUADRON
WHERE'S
OUR
COVER
Holy shit I forgot how much the V-Wing trivializes the early missions
I used to play this game with my dad; him flying and me running blasters and missiles. To this day, I can just say "ROGUES" and he'll complete that line. Transcends generations.
Shut up, General Rieekan.
You mean the Buick?
Those fucking homing missile noises haunt me to this day.
BWEEP-BWEEP! BWEEP-BWEEP!
>replaying Rogue Squadron 3 to get the rest of the medals
>it's not as shit as I remember it being
I do wonder why they removed C-Stick functionality, I liked being able to rotate the camera to see shit flying beside me. Also there's only like 3 missions where you can pick any ship in the game.
Did anyone else get gold easy in Rogue squadron but couldn't get any Platinum medals in Battle for Naboo?
I got almost every gold on Rogue Squadron and I think I even got all golds on Battle for Naboo, but not a single platinum.
How are you playing it? On the GC itself or through an emulator?
>you will never unlock the swamp speeder
That damn game I couldn't beat it the rebel missions where fucking hard with a bunch of AT-AT shooting at you
>tfw unlocking the TIE hunter
Why was Rogue Squadron series so kino?
There's a cheat code for it. It involves the word rhubarb and some punctuation.
On the Cube itself. I generally don't emulate shit past fifth gen.
Gold medal on every level of every game here.
Razor rendezvous was the 3rd hardest, fest the 2nd, sullust the most.
>AWWWOOOOOO
>YEAAAAAAAAA
>AAAAIIIEEEEEEEEEEE
>AAAAAAHHHHHHH
Those sounds the gungens made when you killed them in BFN
Holy shit I never replayed this game since I was a kid
Star wars Pod racer Abyss track still haunts me till this day. going for 1st place is impossible.
How's the PC version of Rogue Squadron? My poor old N64 finally died a few months ago.
same as the original with slight better controls
I had a shitty time with it, it's a pain to get it to work with gamepad and even then it doesn't work right.
Ironically playing 2 on dolphin is better
I did the same, except for me, it was, I think in 2, the Gunner Mission on the Millennium Falcon. Getting Gold on that for some reason still haunts me.
I played it. It was fun. AT-ATs taken over by rebel infiltrators had pretty funny lines.
Does anyone remember that clone wars game. God that was fun.
Republic Commando?
That's the game you're in vehicles pretty much the entire time right? I remember renting it a few times and having a blast with it.
There's a weird camera bug that forces you to cycle the camera a few times at the start of every level, but besides that it runs and plays fine on a 360 gamepad. Worth the $2.50 I paid for it
The clone wars was godly. The multi-player game they had where you captured and upgraded bases to spawn units was amazing. Played that with my brother for hours.
If it ever got released on pc and modded it would be amazing
It would be. But it's literally deadware and it looks like not even gog is willing to pick it up. The best we can do is PS2 emulation.
I remember the cheats that let you spawn any unit in, and making an unstoppable wave of lava octopuses to overwhelm the rebel bases
>tfw cluster seeker missles
>How to steam roll gold medels
The V-Wing was a god among ships. I even used it to get gold in the sullest mission
You can get the gold easier on sullust with an x wing. You need the tankines and control more than the speed
>Instant gold in battle for naboo too
Darth Maul never had a chance
I remember me and 3 friends just playing the survival mode for hours on end. Those were some pretty great times.
>Tfw you hide in that little cave cowering at all the droid tanks outside
>Tfw you choose one of your friends to pick up the super blaster and fly out of the cave to distract all of the droids while we missiled them from behind.
>it's been like 20 years
>I still read it in his voice
jesus christ
