There's a handful, the rest are all people like myself who talk normal and on occassions do stupid shit like dress up as a trap to scare little characters. Or plays Snake in a group of people and torture rooms by playing the music and yelling metal gear as well crouch with our VR sets, and the desktop users end up super confused and sometimes jeluous they don't have a VR headset.

I see 1 headset user every 50-60 people in the game.

All the videos make it seem like a typical Sup Forums meetup. Some cool guys but a lot of spergs just shouting memes and making a fool of themselves. It's something that's fun every now and then, but not something i'd want to do every day.

The oculus has a pretty decent factory mic, Even compared to my desktop AT2020.

Most of the things I talked with people were ways of adapting features such as Oculus Dash into games, or ways to import character models, creating custom animations and actions. Also had some fun art sessions in the presentation rooms.

I don't even have a mic so my voice doesn't really enter into it. I was led to believe it was 'the next second life', which had a robust text system, but found nothing of the sort in VRChat.

I'm just not a fan of voice chat in general. People always feel the need to say whatever dumb, asinine thing enters their head because they can't stand silence. At least in Second life you can turn that off and just go with text.
