God I hope the Challenge DLC isn't just more ezpz superbosses.
Now this is what we call cutting it close.
Can Blades get preggers?
y-you too
>1 orb
What the fuck were you doing Just whittling the health away?
What are some good setups for postgame? I've only seen people mentioning full DPS with crit heals as one of the options.
If by whittle away, you mean slap together whatever you can make in chapter 6, then sure.
I hope they don't rely on having your party kill itself on reflect.
>Reflect Immunity
I hope they don't just make it nothing but Orion counter blowdown launch and AoE hazard bumfuckery.
Did you powerlevel yourself to 99 in Chapter 6? Why?
How many enemies in the game do have reflect?
Spike damage doesn't count.
He's probably autistic.
just got the game today. just got pyra. anyone got any wisdom for me?
>WhereDoYouThinkYouAre.jpeg?
Leave the thread.
Lots of quests to do and big things to kill.
>Did I Do That? procs over and over
This bird is nuts
Okay. Pay attention to the tutorials and listen to what it's saying, even if you don't get it at first. People who find the combat hard to use or slow usually aren't making full use of their abilities.
When it says cancel, it doesn't mean "cancel the attack", it means "Cancel the recovery animation." If you're consistently cancelling after each auto attack the battles will go a lot faster.
Then with your affinity, prioritise the skills that let you use Driver Arts at the start of the battle, so you're not starting a battle just with auto-attacking. Also get the one that lets you cancel arts into other arts, speeds things up a LOT.
Other than that, don't waste Overdrive Protocols, they're the only thing that lets you move Blades from one driver to another. You get 3 in the story and then nothing until right at the end of the game, you're not going to be getting a lot of these. Just use them to fix up some bad luck as you need it.
Don't mix types, keep Rex as all damage, your healer as all healing, your tank as all tank.
This means you won't use your fourth party member when you get him, but that's fine, after Chapter 7 the game will switch up to offer you to be able to play as Tank/DPS/DPS(With healer blade) instead of Tank/Healer/DPS.
Rex doesn't need anything overdrived onto him really, so don't do that for him.
Your first tank doesn't need anything.
Your second tank starts with 1 Tank Blade and gets another through the story, so she only needs 1 more. Get it from cores or overdrive it to her. You can get a pretty good Tank blade from a side quest, but it comes pretty late in the game.
Your healer doesn't need anything, get her 1-2 more Healing Blades, but it's not a priority. You can get one healing blade from a side-quest, so you just need some luck.
Your final DPSer needs 2 DPS blades. So that's a good use of Overdrives if you can't get those blades through luck/cores. But there's also plenty of good DPS blades from sidequests.
Also: People drop Xenoblade spoilers like crazy and you WILL get spoiled for all kinds of major twists. Get outt'a here, some of them are amazing and having them ruined really sucks.
>Go back to whence you came!
What does she mean by this? Is there a reference I'm missing?
thanks for the warning.
and thank you for the indepth info.
There should be a way to adjust your TV settings to make the screen fit, I had the same issue and fixed it. You can lower the Switch's screen size, as well, either way will fix your problem.
Nia!
The speed runs have already begun.
>8hr Speedrun.
Fuck yeah. I loved that comfy FF7 "speedrun", I could get onboard with another one of those.
Complete cancer and utter cancer.
Speed running needs to fuck off and die.
MS should have put more blade field abilities locked behind random blades so you're forced to roll for the ones you need to finish different parts of the main game.
user, they told you from the moment you could use both of them. Press their button again in battle and it'll swap between Mythra and Pyra.
So if she's bound to Up, press Up when you've got her out.
Did you really go through the whole game without having Pyra doing your Flame Combos? Light, Light, Flame is basically a free elemental combo...
Where do i get orange beta scope ? I'm farming the 75 unique bat but i got like 20+ pink rarity
Yes, I did in fact play for 90 hours without ever doing that. I did main Nia and I never saw the AI do it either, and I replaced him with the chuuni as soon as I got him, though, so there's that.
I just want to point out how much of a brainlet this poster is. How do so many people not understand how this game works. I saw another poster that didn't know that each blade has 4 moves and that you can change the position of moves
>Replacing Rex with Zeke
I literally don't understand why people would do that. Keeping the main character in a JRPG underlevelled just seemed like a terrible idea to me. I literally never used Zeke until after Chapter 7.
Everyone gets the same exp, though, even if they're inactive.
Can someone explain to me how to activate final form Mythra/Pyra? I thought you just needed a full chain attack.
I really wish you could see tutorials again...
Max affinity with both Pyra and Mythra and have full chain gauge.
I don't know why you say both. You never have to switch to Pyra to activate it.
Just started the game.
Do I only turn in collections when I'm low on cash? I'm worried I'll get rid of items that will become quest objectives for side quests.
That's what I remember the tutorial told me. If Pyra and Mythra have their affinities at max (with the golden thread) and the party gauge is full, you can activate it.
You'll pretty much never be low on cash after the first few hours. Now leave this thread to avoid spoilers.
>On the Bana assassination chapter
>Getting my ass kicked by Giga Rosa
>decide to try out the stock of Cores I have because fuck it I'm desperate
>pull Kora first try
>Finch second try
>what the fuck
>Electra the third
>decide that enough pushing my luck and equip them to Zeke and Nia
>still getting my ass kicked
I have never felt more conflicting emotions in my life.
nice gamecube game you got there
how can i take screenshots on gc?
You can't even turn in items if you don't spend some time salvaging and even if you do need them later, they're easy to find again.
Here's a tip: There's a chest in argentum guild with a core chip that will boost Pyra's attack to over 200, you can get it as soon as you start chapter 2.
The majority of items that come from salvaging can be sold with impunity. Quest items you can only get from salvaging usually only appear AFTER you start the quest. So there's no way to end up with them beforehand.
Collection point items are good to keep because some quests require them and most are needed to make aux cores usable.
>let's get comfy
Hmm.
Well it's wrong because all you need is one or the other. You can start a fight with Mythra with a full party gauge and immediately transform as soon as your tether turns gold.
Thanks for telling me.
Which blade do like that will never get fan art? For me, it's Sheba
Thanks, I now killed Ophion the last UM I needed, but if the superbosses use reflect then who uses spike damage?
>save before Perun's heart-to-heart
>choose clearly correct option
>keep thinking I wanted to choose the other option and ask her if she was a masochist
>reload and do so, the results are cute and hilarious
>don't bother redoing it the 'correct' way
Perun was canonically embarassed to the highest degree at being deemed a masochist in my playthrough.
Newt
Literally fucking 0
Look up Eigaka on twitter, m8
99% of the time I choose the bad option because it's hilarious
>literally never talk to any npcs since I have zero incentive to do so
>never use items since they seem pointless
>suddenly hit a roadblock in the factory and can't progress since I don't have these field abilities leveled up
That was stupid.
You're gonna have to be more specific
...
Finally
>ANY of those on ZEKE
Dumb question but you are playing with a three party team, right?
Perun. Literal delicious chocolate perfection, yet fucking nothing.
And by three party I mean three member*
Probably for the best because if she does get art it will likely be her getting dicked.
Electra
Of course.
>Zeke(Pandoria, Wulfric, Finch)
>Nia(Dromarch, Boreas, Electra)
>Tora(Poppi, Poppi QT)
I'm I doing something wrong here?
>pull out 5 star blade from common
>tanks on Nia
The fuck
Use Rex you dumb shit
why is poppi the best blade?
why is tora the best driver?
Why doesn't Poppi have a male mode called Popeye.
Tora not gay
Same here.
If she gets dicked she'll become straight.
She was the one that pulled her, and it's the second best thing she has outside Boreas.
I was using Zeke to take advantage of the electric weakness, but yeah I should probably do that.
>Not Poppicock
So...so close.
Sheba already said that she'll fuck guys if they meet her extremely high standards, she just likes girls a lot more
He doesn't mind, he likes Morag.
>never use items since they seem pointless
Items are the most op thing in this game. Just get some art recharge or special recharge and the game become a joke for the next twenty minutes to few hours.
Niatank is best tank, fuck you user
When did my Hikari suddenly become overpowered? I don't get it. I think it's that recharge ability she has but I don't remember her having that in the past. Is it an affinity chart thing?
I know na tree house translations are bad
But goddamn how did Nintendo eu fuck it up this bad.
Why change all their fucking names...hanna and homuras were fine
Ok so I've got 60 bucks in eshop cards. Should I get this game? I watched some clips of it and the english voice acting looks real shit and the gameplay looks like a bit of a clusterfuck, but it seems like people like it. I am also interested in the coming Octopath and Pokemon games. Would it be better to wait for them?
Id say go for it. I thought it was a cluster fuck too.
But that wasn't as bad as I thought.
The nip voices were good too
Well, you can download the japanese voices for free, if you want. A Pokemon game isn't coming until at least late 2018 and Octopath doesn't even have a final name, so don't worry about those. This game will keep you entertained for hundreds of hours.
Stop using the weeb names.
What's stupid is you not reading requirements on your blades' affinity charts.
Nothing comfy about shitty waifubait
The correct answer is POWER LEVEL.
I want to give Rosa the Ultra Bang Bang
Recharge Boost and Lightspeed Flurry, yeah.
How?
Why?
oh you're that guy
I don't understand why'd you waste all that time just to make the game a cakewalk.
How do you go about taking her clothes off?
>Rex wants to invite the guy that killed Vandham out for drinks
Rex sure is forgiving.
You're one of those fucks that has a stage 3 starter pokemon before the first gym, huh?
The boosters don't really raise my chance at a rare blade itself, just at what element the new blade will be, right? So it's the same if I have level 0 or 10 on all four at the same time?
They were names with meaning that would be lost in those that don't know JP even though you'd need google and some guess work in order to extract the meaning from a good amount of the localized names. Thankfully, they included dual audio for those that can actually pick up those things.
Help me set up my Zeke.
Pandoria, Zenobia, Wulfric
or
Pandoria, Agate, Praxis
And then proceeds to bitch about how the game is "too easy" because he spent hours grinding.
Hana literally means flower. So they went with "Poppi" because of... poppy seeds?
Zenobia is fucking amazing so I'd go with her.
