What are some games with comfy snow areas?
Snow
Other urls found in this thread:
Skyrim
Fable
Kingdom Hearts 2
Horizon
Mafia 2
Something preferably not developed by Bethesda.
The Division
The wilderness at the start of Rise of the Tomb Raider.
I've been looking at Horizon lately. It seems kinda the normie fotm game so I was kinda put off. I also know the whole story, but at least it looks nice.
Ive played KH and Fable. Never really a mafia fan.
Shiverpeaks in Guild Wars
assassin's creed 3 unironically
Vermintide
OP here.
I hated that game. Its what made me quit buying AC games.
The snow was nice though.
sad, Unity and Origins are actually good, not joking. Tho I like AC3 so I guess my opinion is probably shit for you
Arkham Origins
I liked 4, got that for free.
But that was pirates more than assassins creed.
I cant say I really have any interest in AC ever again unless they go to China or Japan.
Pillars of Eternity's White March expansion takes place in a wintery climate. Elex also had Xacor, a snowy zone in the north.
>I also know the whole story
Weak...
You just can't handle having your own opinion on things can you? You fell for the Sup Forums meme because a Sup Forumsirgin got a pre-release copy of the game and made an effort to show it off in the worst way possible.
Not really.
My room mate had the game and I watched him play the majority of it.
The Long Dark.
I haven't played it, but it's got snow.
Fade to silence. Typical early access survival game but the cold and snow mechanics with the eldrich type enemies gives me boners.
The comfiest snow related area is where the land is barely covered in snow with an inch or two, but you can still see green patches of grass every couple of feet, all while it's gently snowing. Then as you walk further, those green patches slowly disappear.
You know I'm right.
Skyrim. Too bad it's a shit game
Witcher 3
>Long Dark
>Don't Starve
>Stardew Valley
I normally hate early access stuff, but theres always exceptions. I'll look into it.
Ive looked at it before. I think the last time I saw it was it early access.
I like more of a blanket, but thats also very comfy. Add in an approaching nightfall, with a bright moon to illuminate the falling snow, and maybe a fire or cabin in the distance.
>Stardew Valley
I wish I'd thought of this sooner.
How long does it take to get to Autumn/Winter?
So you actively chalked your room mate up to being a normie and since he got it, well then the game must be a normie game?
k
How's the DLC for Mafia 2? Been considering buying the game and maybe it's DLC, but they have mixed reviews on steam so idk.
Hes pretty close on some occasions.
But I wasn't implying that he was just because he got it. I watched a lot of the game through him and saw what was being said about it on many outlets, etc. I based my decision on that.
I don't know why you're getting so defensive though. I never said it looked bad or was bad. I even said I've been looking at it again lately and considering it.
That looks interesting. Any reason the reviews so far are so mixed?
I'll also add that webm is pretty and does make it tempting.
>moving goalposts
I unironically believe Skyrim is pretty comfy when it’s not flailing in bugs
Given the current climate on Sup Forums on the game you gotta cut me some slack on 'being defensive'. I have heard some of the most absurd reasons for not playing the game that are just in general not true.
I guess all i will say is that playing the game is better than watching it on youtube if you understand.
First level in the original Tomb Raider has some comfy blocky-snow
whoa skyrim has a skybox, what a game
but seriously though, eat shit bethesdrone
I enjoyed Skyrim when it came out. It was pretty comfy. I just cant see myself returning to it. I enjoy the elder scrolls for the most part anyway. I dislike fallout, so I was just eliminating that out the gate.
Unless you know some mod suggestions to overhaul skyrim, I think I'd have to pass on it.
>No one said Phendrana
Goddamn children
Doesn't even look that good compared to most levels in modern games.
What game is that?
hzd
The comfiest game with snow is obviously sims 3.
People go out and make snowmen and igloos. They also play around with the snow and you can play snowball fights with people.
Damn that shit looks nice.
Tops that uncharted 2 snow.
aye
