Challenge. Make a system using real world physics elements.
>frezze
>poison, radiation, toxic
meaningless
Close but not quite.
You've managed to make something more nonsensical
>>ice countering wind
Nah it's already shit
The Chinese five element system is interesting. Are there any games that use it?
no heart?
PK ghey m80
>No nature/plant
>No moon/cosmic
>No ghost/telepathic
Shit list.
>Make a system using real world physics elements.
It's called chemistry fuck nuts.
This is retarded. Earth is represented by vegetation here, which isn't what earth is. And lighting would be strong against plants too, creating fire upon hitting trees or bushes.
No, this is
I like it in practice but I still don't get why wind and ice oppose each other
>not having atomic element
>having fairy element
>not having psychic element
shit chart
>not having Eggplant element
it's strongest against Nep.
Move over fags, objectively best elemental system coming through
...
Heat
Cold
Electric
Acid
All correlate to actual distinct real world damage.
>Acid
>But no caustic
I like how Fire Emblem 10 did elements the best
>Anima magic is the most commonplace and is split into 3 types
>Wind is the weakest but has the highest accuracy and does bonus damage to flying units
>Fire is stronger than wind but less accurate. It's powerful against beastkin, which are the most common non-human enemies
>Thunder is even stronger than fire but is even less accurate. Thunder spells also generally have +crit rate and get a bonus against dragons which are rare but very powerful
>Wind loses to fire, fire loses to thunder, thunder loses to wind
>Light magic is much, much rarer than anima magic. It's weaker than wind magic but even more accurate. Bread and butter spell tomes are weak but luxury tomes like Thani and Nosferatu have very powerful secondary effects like lifesteal and x3 damage to certain enemy types.
>Dark magic is common to enemies but basically nonexistent for the player party. It has the highest damage spells in the game, but suffers from very low accuracy. The books are also generally heavy so it slows down the caster significantly (no doubleattacks).
>Anima beats Light
>Light beats Dark
>Dark beats Anima
If you think of wind such as a tropical storm, then ice and cold nullifies it's size and scale. I guess that makes a little sense, but it would just be better if it were plan then you could say, oh ice kills plants and spring is the end of winter. Then change earth to rock or stone and it would make more sense.
