Anyone else play everything on PC with a controller?
It's fucking amazing that pretty much every game released in the past 8 years supports a DXinput controller out of the box
And my god this controller is perfection.
I'm currently playing Dungeons 3 with it and it plays flawlessly. Also fast paced shooters like Hard Reset and Shadow Warrior (remake) play great
Mouse and keyboard is for work and tryhards.
Anyone else play everything on PC with a controller?
>Kb+m for tryhard
Turn off your aim assist. Effortless.
I play basically anything that is FP/RTS with kb+m and everything else with controller.
It's works pretty well for me. Using PS4 controller touchpad for moving the mouse and clicking when things need it. Do pretty much what other user said.
I was considering a PS4 controller but SCP is such a fucking pain in the ass that I went with an Xbone
I had a PS3 controller before
Nefarius SCP Toolkit worked perfectly for me until I stupidly got the fall creator's update for win10. Now I use either built in support, DS4Windows, or Steam controller support. It's become annoying as shit.
Are the Wii U Pro controllers on Gamestop legit, because no other place else sells legit Wii U Pro controller.
maybe if the battery life wasn't crap on those things I would use mine. I bought one before the one s controller came out. Plus side the huge blue light can be disabled in a way on the pc so at least there was relief from that.
When I found out the one s controller had bluetooth built-in I bought that.
>battery life
You can buy three pairs of rechargable Duracell batteries+charger at Walmart for like 25 bucks.
Why do these things STILL use AA batteries? Jesus is there some collusion with the largely obsolete battery industry?
You can get legit ones cheaper on eBay.
I don't know how to git gud on eBay because I can't tell if something is legit or not.
>life
Xbox controller is pretty much the all around best controller, PS4 looks nicer (fuck the lightbar though) and Switch Pro has nicer feeling buttons and D-Pad
The revised models have a battery life on par with Xbox One controllers (at least on PC). The battery life meme only really applies to release day PS4 controllers that had questionable build quality.
Original came out in 2013, got to keep it standard with new models so people don't sperg out. Maybe next generation of consoles will have something decent. It's bullshit that it doesn't come with a rechargeable like PS4 does
stop trying to sell me your controller phil
If the switch pro had the xbone's back buttons it would be my perfect controller
they're both top comfy though
Even the Switch has a rechargeable pro controller with a decent 40? hour life. It's ridiculous that I have to go buy batteries if I want to play wirelessly with an Xbone controller.
I use a ps3 controller, you need to download something called SCP I think, but it's awesome, fuck using a keyboard
lol it was ridiculous even for Xbox360
i use an elite xboner for a few things but it was kind of a waste to buy. most games range from shit to unplayable with a pad, and half the games i would want to use it with (like FF13) are garbage ports that won't fucking recognize anything
kiddie paddles are for console babies anyway
That's the thing. We're paying $60 for a new controller that has additional costs which can range from buying batteries, getting rechargeable batteries and charger, or getting proprietary battery packs with its own charger (this was the case for the 360, does the Bone have the packs as well?)
I remember people here bitching about the Switch pro controller costing $70 but that has pretty much the same standard features as Xbone/DS4, in addition to using a newer USB-C type charging cable in the box, an internal rechargeable battery, and gyroscope motion controls.
>dxinput
it's xinput
>scared to shop on eBay
I prefer kbm except for third person melee type games like Soulsborne stuff
I use it about 50/50 KB&M for FPS, TPS, RTS, MMO's anything I can't get the same precision on a controller with really. Use my Xbone for everything else, gets heavy use in JRPG's and with emulation.
>Mouse and keyboard is for work and tryhards.
You post was almost good then you had to post stupid shit like this.
I have to use paypal and I don't want to go through all that crap when I just want to pay directly.
