The entire story for SFV was an after thought. None of it feels like it makes sense in the canon. I also hate the idea of the world warriors working together towards something. It should have been an eloborate story that integrated everyone individual arcade story into a bigger picture, but that would take effort.

I have 13 extreme survivals to complete and 5 hard ones.
With the trainer and some music, the hard ones are ok but I can't see myself chaining 2 or 3 extreme one after another.

I've done maybe one extreme every other day since the announcement of losing FM. It's a pain in the ass, but luckily for me, all I had was every DLC character released since Juri, since that was when they originally went after One Round Survival.

I did get the warning about cheating, but never noticed any FM reductions. I did find that I really enjoy Kolin thanks to it though, despite her working WAY too hard for little to no payoff beyond stun.

Rashid is a legit good character. He's likable, his design is simple but very recognizable, his playing style is perfect for entry level people and his story has room for development, also it's great Capcom doesn't try to hide the fun part of his inclusion like pointed out.

I'd have no problem with him being the main character from now on. Alex is fucking garbage anyways.

I can't believe Capcom has fallen from grace so hard. SF4 and MVC3 were such amazing titles, and SFV and MVCI just completely fail to live up to their predecessor's legacies. I feel like MVCI was the "third strike" (SFxTK, SFV, and MVCI), so I currently have no reason to believe Capcom fighters will ever get better, so I feel like I am permanently done with Capcom fighters. In addition, people who are getting excited for the SF anniversary game are bunch of dummies who have never heard of an emulator.

Rashid is a great character. The only downside is the scouter but I suppose its meant to be a google glass knock off.

Fang is pretty good too despite his bad first impression. He's probably the closest to a joke character besides birdie but his story mode presence really made up for everything.

Laura though is shit through and through. Her story is shit, and she's not fun to fight cause everything is safe and a 50/50 and because of that everything she does can lead to a major upset or comeback. Not even laura players like laura. Its retarded to nerf mika and make her 100x worse than she ever was. I'd rather have sean.

The new season 2 characters were mostly shit too barring menat and zeku. They fucked up eds look which is part of what made him stand out, kolin is stale, abigail while fun is really shit on the eyes unless you use one of his alts.

Zekus strider back story and ability to switch between rush down and zoning is really cool though and makes up for him being mid tier at best gameplay wise.

Menat is the new girl in the game and besides the waifu bait she is she actually does stand out on her own and is very refreshing gameplay wise.

No he's not. Nash and ryu are the closest things to mc story has. And even nash offs himself for nothing in the end so ryu had to pick up the slack. Rashid doesn't even fight the big bad or acts as a cause for the events happening.

But he does save the world in the end
Karin's sort of an MC in that point too since she's the one that brings it all together.

Honestly in SFV's story, Ryu's presence is pretty minimal. He beats up Necalli, who's basically just there to be there and does jack shit so it feels meaningless, and beats Bison
