That dagger clipping

>that dagger clipping
How can you Miyazaki fags defend this?

>game has some clipping

UNPLAYABLE

Clipping is a minor part of literally every game no matter how graphically advanced even uncharted 4 and HZD

The better the graphics get, the more I'm bothered by clipping and static clothes.

Seriously though how do we stop clipping? It can't just be about effort or skill since literally every game does it. Or can it?

how is that clipping? the blade is simply attached to the leg instead of the handle and moves with it. that is obviously intended.

Clipping is totally unavoidable (EVE probably doesn't have a problem with it though), but I'm with you on the clothes.

Abyss Watchers would be the best fight in Souls if it was a little bit more challenging.

But it's literally impossible already?

I thought it was a bit too easy, got it on my 3rd or 4th try, which prevents it from being as memorable in my mind as something like O&S which had me stuck for ages. The problem is that when I was stuck on O&S I was playing my first Souls game for the first time. My first playthrough of DS3 came after spending hundreds of hours playing other games in the series, so most bosses didn't give me a lot of trouble. It's hard to know whether that's due to DS3 being easier or just me being a lot better at these games than I was back in 2011, but even if fights like Abyss Watchers and Twin Princes are super fucking cool in pretty much every respect, it's hard for me to see them in the same light as Manus or O&S because I didn't spend nearly as much time struggling against them.

The amount of computation that would go into stopping clipping is better spent elsewhere.

But that's if you're talking about totally dynamic and physics based animation Clipping happens just as often in completely scripted and controlled scenes.

pfft, so many games have the plate armor the character is wearing bend like rubber in like every single animation, i can handle a dagger clipping ty

>It's hard to know whether that's due to DS3 being easier or just me being a lot better at these games
I've wondered this myself, and my conclusion is that it's a bit of both. I started with DS1, then played DS3, then BB. After hundreds of hours in BB, I tried going back to DS1 and I got my shit handed to me. Struggled to even parry hollows in undead burg.

this guy was a better fight than that final DLC fight we got

>buy the sage hat because I love big hats
>my sword clips through the hat
>at the bonfire my character's knee clips through the hat too

and then I decided to just stick to lucatiel's mask

>How can you Miyazaki fags defend this?
With my life.

>equip any greatshield
>two handed greatswords being held over the shoulder in the idle animation clip through it
Good thing they made shields useless

heres a fun game to play. name a single 3D game that doesn't have clipping

>glorifying literal Wolf weebs

What game has the least clipping?

Superman 64

Uncharted 4

Older 3D games have usually less clipping because the models have less detail.

easy to do when the entire game is just a step away from being on rails

id rather replay uncharted 4 again than ever to touch any souls game again iam so tired of these

It would be near the top for me. It felt way too early.

>implying

Is he even human?

This is stormtrooper-tier missed shots
But what else can you expect of console games

Hmm, I think Uncharted is meant to emulate hollywood action movies. If you want realistic shooting and accurate enemies you could try a different game.

If you look at the first line of my post then you'll realize that's literally what I just said
The intelligence of console players

>Feel like DS3 was lazy rehashing
>Learn that the fire was relinked so many times that Lordran became severely fucked up and ended up Lothric
>Culminates in Gwyn's theme and soul taking over the second have of the Soul of Cinder fight
>Now it makes sense and I feel dumb

Cutscenes are rendered in-engine, so all objects are generated on the spot. Very few games use fully canned cutscenes.

But legs and arms don't usually clip so what's your point.

what's worse, clipping or sliding?

This fucker doesn't hit hard and has predictable attacks compared to bosses like Pontiff, Champ, and Dancer

But for some reason it's the only boss i have hard times with

So I only got Torb and Lucio legos. Why does Blizz hate me so?
