Yes if you have decent armour and weapons and can pick the ground to gang up on the enemy and not be exposed to ranged fire.

I use this, lets me 3v1 the enemy 1 at a time with melee.
That seemingly blocks off colonists with guns though, unless you want them shooting your melee colonists in the back
And the only armor I can reliably make are armor plate and simple steel helmet.
Colonists can shoot over 1 rank.

I fought off a nine-man siege with one melee guy. He was slightly bionic, and only had a composite vest, a shield belt, and a plasteel knife.

Seems like a higher gamble than picking off the enemy from some sandbags as they funnel through a choke point, although you could probably change the design into a two stage design to use both elements

If your base is completely walled/doored off they will go for your walls and doors to get in. If you leave an opening (via a trap corridor) they will go through it unless they have a sapper team.
Are you playing with CE? Do you have grenades? Throw the grenades at the wall, and let the diggers get ass fucked by shrapnel.

Vanilla grenades work the same way. It just happens. I'm not sure why.

Base damage of the Power arm is 22. I needed a bionic arm and a power claw to upgrade it. I think this might be the strongest weapon there is
I downloaded this Lighter than Fast mod with extra races and gear from FTL and this one fucking raider has this shit equipped and he is fucking invincible. I've been shooting at him for an entire day while fleeing and his shield won't go down. It blocks melee shit too.

What about Nature's Pretty Sweet? Reading it it looks pretty retarded, and it says it adds "cold breath on pawns when they are in the cold" when that is already in the base game. And the lava tiles look dumb and pretty broken. Not sure if I want the mod. Convince me Sup Forums

Is there a way to make your cook take shit from stockpile 1, place the meals on stockpile 1 but then have someone else take it from stockpile 1 to stockpile 2 halfway across the map? Is this doable with stockpile priorities?

but what i do is make my cook drop the meals on the ground, onto a stockpile that accepts nothing.
this way the cook can focus on his cooker job and meals are counted when cooking until you have X. and someone else handles the hauling

How do I make shelves work? I want to put the heavy armor close to kill-boxes but colonists never put the combat gear there.
if you click details on the bill you can set it to drop on the ground when done instead of taking it to a stockpile.
its an option in the table
there is also a mod called industry or something that lets you place down factorio like conveyor belts to transport items around into stockpiles, through walls and so on. if you fancy that kind of thing
