There isn't a clear separation between team and twitch shooters, you can have twitch movement but have a game focus on cohesion, you don't need a class system when players are naturally conscious of positions, cover, visibility and location of enemies. You can have a class system but players are able to lay waste to everyone in the map just by making skillful use of a certain ability or weapon.

It's literally impossible to lonewolf and win a base in planetside 1, but planetside 2 is designed around fast pace "round" type battles and doesn't emphasize on teamwork as much as it does simply having better reflexes and better/more guns than the other team.

If the TTK is too long, it no longer needs twitch reflexes. Ergo, it is not a twitch shooter.

OW is not and probably will never be a twitch shooter because the simple fact is, they have a slightly higher barrier to entry. And that's basically heresy to modern blizzard because ALL there games need to be as casual friendly as possible.
On top of all that, all the fucking auto-aim or no skill ults. TTK is an important factor but not the only one.

This game was so much fun when it came out, but holy shit did that community go down the shitter, and then the Devs backed their garbage community. Overwatch is the single biggest disappointment of my gaming life, (since 92)

With that being said, I absolutely hate that TF2 jumped on the matchmaking bandwagon too and forcing you to play on official servers in order to do contracts.
