why is the dpad so fucking stiff
Why is the dpad so fucking stiff
Why does everyone fucking complain about the dpad? Mine's fucking perfect.
would you recommend getting a pro controller? I imagine it is better than the joycons, but at the same time, 66 bucks is a chunk of change to spend on something like that
it's the best fucking controller I've ever had
its pretty fucking good desu. Although my hands get sweatier using it moreso than any other controller. the dpad is still great it just feels slightly (and i mean really slightly) less responsive than the wiiU pro controller.
10/10 will be buying another one soon.
I really really hope we get more color combinations
w-well
if you keep playing with it
isn't it obvious it would get stiff
ahn~
Does only XC2 controller has fixed d-pad or is Splatoon 2 fine too?
bought mine on day one and it's perfect
Doesn't all regular pro controllers have d-pad issues?
nah
Depends on who you ask. I've never had issues with mine but I hear fans of games like Puyo Puyo tetris complain.
Apparently, there is an issue with pressing d-pad to one side and it triggering wrong inputs because it is too stiff.
give me milky
I've had mine for a few months and for some reason the Dpad "clicks" a lot now. Especially when it's cold.
Why does your controller look like a trap who posts their legs in kneesocks on Sup Forums?
Pyra is the reason I bought this Pro Controller. I don't regret it one bit.
>most expensive controller on the market is the worst one
Seriously, how do you fuck up a dpad so badly that the joycons non dpad is genuinely more reliable? How do you fuck up sticks so badly that they need to be "broken in" in order to MAYBE stop the horrible clicking and grinding noises? How do you seriously cut the battery I half compared to the last iteration of your controller and expect to charge more money for it now?
Pro controller is far and away the worst controller of the generation. Jesus it's so shitty.
Because you are a massive faggot who thinks about traps, shemales and other degenerates the whole time.
joycon grip is good enough for small/medium hands and comes with a switch for free too
it's the best controller you can buy
>Seriously, how do you fuck up a dpad so badly that the joycons non dpad is genuinely more reliable?
mine works perfectly, so you're wrong
>How do you fuck up sticks so badly that they need to be "broken in" in order to MAYBE stop the horrible clicking and grinding noises?
lie
>How do you seriously cut the battery I half compared to the last iteration of your controller and expect to charge more money for it now?
played for 50 hours. not enough? of course not, you want to shitpost
>Pro controller is far and away the worst controller of the generation. Jesus it's so shitty.
the best. and the most comfortable
user there's a reason Sup Forums has controller threads and separate threads for the switch pro. Faggots who think they actually got their money's worth out of that apple tier controller get laughed out of the controller threads.
Here's your controller bro
>still trying
sad
I didn't know they made a Kung Pow controller
open cloth and show bob
Switch controller with Xbox one dpad would be the best controller of all time
milk truck just arrived
Mind you, this is the bing bing wahoo faggot's entire library of controllers
>Xbox one dpad
I understand that after the 360 d-pad being such a massive shit pile why you might think the xbone d-pad is better but you need to seriously need to get your head checked if you think it's anywhere near good.
Good one
Gamecube a best
I don't get the whole "bing bing wahoo" thing. Like I understand it, I know where it comes from, I just don't see how it's supposed to be derogatory.
>Here are some sound effects from mario, are you trolled yet?
> Wii U
> Not the godlike pro controller
>Seriously, how do you fuck up a dpad so badly that the joycons non dpad is genuinely more reliable?
Its not even that bad, you're exaggerating.
>How do you fuck up sticks so badly that they need to be "broken in" in order to MAYBE stop the horrible clicking and grinding noises?
what? That's probably a defective controller, just take it back to wherever you go it and get a new one.
>How do you seriously cut the battery I half compared to the last iteration of your controller and expect to charge more money for it now?
well it does have gyroscopes/haptic feedback and more. Expecting the battery to last longer is ludicrous. Besides, I've been playing XC2 for about 40 hours now and still don't need to recharge the controller.
quit being dramatic.
>riding airplane
>take a left turn
>switch flies out the window
>plane crashes into world trade center while BING BING WAHOO sounds are blasted through the pilots intercom
>people on plane start clapping
Did they fix the input problems on the newer ones? I've got one from release and it's always had problems registering the correct directions. I've always planned to replace it at some point.
Steam controller has gyro, HD rumble/haptic and much more with a longer battery life than the WiiU pro.
You got jewed, plain and simple.
I'd take those over literally any Dualshock controller. I've been an idort since gen 6 and I still hate the dualshock with a burning passion.
D-Pad on mine is shit.
I cannot quickly flick left to right on it without getting an up or down diagonal input sometime in-between.
If they just shoved the Wii U or 3DS d-pad on instead, it would have been perfect
(besides the lack of analog triggers)
As someone who has held and played with the controllers for nearly every major console ever released, I can say with 100% certainty that the switch pro controllers is one of the very best ones.
Why does anyone ever care about d-pads?
Haven't tried it myself but apparently putting electrical tape on the inner half or quarter of the d-pad contacts will stop wrong inputs.
>Implying Wii classic controller wasn't fucking amazing
>Implying Wii U Pro wasn't great
>Implying NES and SNES controllers aren't one of the best designed gamepads in history and the basis for the design of modern controllers
Come on man I know you don't like Nintendo, but at least give credit where credit is due. Nintendo has some damn good controllers. They made a few duds over the years, but that's just what happens when you experiment.
ITT everyone learns about the Pro's shit D pad 9 months later
t. Child
>Depends on who you ask
No, it doesn't, because it's a design flaw, not a manufacturing error. If you play Puyo Puyo Tetris or Shovel Knight, you'll see that the d-pad has the problem.
The Xenoblade controller is the new model with a new internal design to fix the design flaw present in the original Pro Controller. Only way to get the new model guaranteed is to get the Xenoblade controller.
>Wii classic controller good
What the fuck are you smoking?
I'd take a DS3 over that shit.
I've heard some people say its the same as the original.
There any solid confirmation or proof the Xenoblade Pro has a different D-Pad design?
Wish I could find that one fan art where an analog stick is moved and she reacts as if it was her nipple.
wish I could marry and impregnate her
Well, not only is it not the most expensive controller (Xbox One Elite) it's also not the worst.
It has the best analogue sticks (best range of motion without a doubt), tied for best bumpers (with the Xbox One S Controller), best triggers (forget your meme analog triggers, hair triggers are the best), best face buttons (although this one is probably the most debatable) and worst d-pad. It's also the most comfortable, with the Xbox One S Controller being an incredibly close second.
Overall, I think that anyone who has put serious time into each controller, without memeing, would see why the Pro Controller is fucking incredible. DS4 is probably the most well rounded controller, but it's also the least comfortable. The design makes it a chore to claw. And even when I'm not clawing, the Pro and Xbox One S Controller are just easier for longer sessions.
I don't know of any solid proof.
degenerate
Analogue triggers are the best for a majority of games
>Conflating a premium model controller and the base controller for the switch
Genuine desperation
>Racing games and racing games
>The majority
???????
Why is it worth $70 fucking dollars.
As much as I want a controller for the switch, this is taking it too far.
The only way I'll pay that much if it was an updated Gamecube controller, made for the Switch.
I don't care, I love Pyra
