Don't listen to these tards. They void your warranty and don't even look good

Faggot

>ordered switch two weeks ago
>amazon hasn't even shipped it yet
>it was in stock, no message about delay
>its supposed to get here tomorrow

what the fuck

Amazon is really weird with their tracking algorithm. I ordered some things for Christmas and it said they would get here the thursday after, instead they arrived the saturday before.

They do
And since joycons are notorious for having connectivity issues, you would be really stupid to use them

You really need to lay off the memes, user

...

I hope they sell a left joycon with a d-pad someday.

Source on the warranty voiding or fug off

Amazon's tracking works fine for the rest of the year, it's just around Christmas everything goes to shit

I fucking wish they sold these separately.

Nintedo's website says using third party accessories voids the warranty.

>use third party screen protector
>Switch breaks like the flimsy piece of poop all post OG DS Nintendo products are
>try to get it sent in for fixing
>"You used a third party product so your warranty is void"
>third party product isn't even related to what broke
Oh no no no.

Pretty much any time you open up any electronic from any company, you're voiding the warranty because manufacturers aren't going cover something that could be broken because of your tampering with it rather than because of a manufacturing defect.

Opening up the joycons voids your warranty and you have to open them to install the new casings

It says any third party accessory though. I'm not even "taking anything apart" by using a third party screen protector.

Yeah the guy who said any third party accessory was dumb, that's not true
But opening your joycons casing will void your warranty, and they can tell if you've opened it even if you put the original casings back on

enjoy a tablet without warranty kid

The easy answer is just to take the screen protector off before sending it in or use an officially licensed screen protector in the first place. I don't think screen protectors are what they're concerned with anyway, I think it's more about not covering a Switch that got fucked up by a cheap charger.

>and they can tell if you've opened it even if you put the original casings back on
How?

How you know they'd say "you opened them" even when you didn't just to get out of fixing it for free?

dont forget to buy some amiibos with it too, fag

>The easy answer is just to take the screen protector off before sending it in
Yeah and they'll see the little adhesive markings from it and can tell.

Because they can tell if the screws on the casings were installed by the factory or by a screwdriver at home.

It's perfect!

They could still lie and say "you opened them."

If it's a third party screen protector that's licensed by Nintendo, your warranty is fine. I know this because I had to send in my Wii U gamepad a few years back.

And how are they going to tell the markings (that you could just clean off properly instead) came from an unlicensed protector rather than an officially licensed one?

Im this user If it's a licensed screen protector (Nintendo seal of approval and all that) you don't even need to take it off before sending in, and they won't take it off themselves unless they have to.

or even better. Cosmic Purple.

I want muh 90s transparent joycons, user.

They didn't do that when I sent mine in.

I bought the grey Joycon Switch because I thought the neon blue/red looked a bit too girly. I didn’t want my Switch to stand out like a sore thumb, even if there is a giant ass logo on the back of the thing.

...

dude, what

How many of these are there?

>voiding your warranty

There are no seal stickers. Nintendo made them easy to open for battery replacements

...

If you don't want to install 3rd party casing, there's neon red, neon blue, neon yellow, grey, super mario red, and splatoon neon green/pink.

>Super Famicom style buttons

Joycons and color customizability are a wonderful idea ruined by the pricetag.
>$100 in Canada

I threw away the pieces of the joycons with the straps because I thought they were just useless straps.

Now that I'm seeing this image.. did I fuck up?

if they don't make something like this they're braindead idiots

yes, if you like using the joycons separately like a wiimote and nunchuck, they fill in space to make the larger and honestly the perfect size for segmented controls. If not then no you didn't fuck up.

you can buy replacements for $25 i think

They'll only come with the special edition of a remastered 64 game and the special editions sells out in two seconds after pre-orders go live. Nintendo never releases another wave in any form.

>threw away fairly big pieces of plastic with metal linings and obvious contacts because you thought they were useless straps
