So this is on the Steam Sale. Is it worth it?

I don't know how this game is still up and running. The game was such a disappointment.

get r6s instead

It easily has the best snow atmosphere in any game from what I've seen.

>uplay
Avoid it.

It's really improved since launch in my opinion

this

If you want a third person shooter from ubisoft I'd reccomend Ghost Recon Wildlands instead of this.

Also this

Fucking shit do I hate uplay

I Borrowed the PS4 version from a friend and quickly gave it back after i beat the campaign because it honestly felt a bit too boring. I also hated how it forced me to do their shitty sidequests instead of just finishing the campaign first.

From what i have researched so far, it seems that a recent patch gave it the FFXIV treatment and made it good, which is why i'm considering buying it for cheap.

ITs fun for a while but its a typical grind-to-get-better-weapons-to-grind game.

I want something to just get comfy and play for a bit. R6 requires constant focus and coordination, i already get my load of that doing weekly Destiny 2 raids.

Does the Steam version still require Uplay? Fucking hell.

It’s worth 10 bucks tops. But even then you’ll get bored of it after 2 days

This. So fucking comfy.

What about Wildlands?

ghost recon wildlands is better.

...

Can you give me a quickrundown about Wildlands? I'm interested.

>bullet sponge enemies
I fucking HATE this shit.

I wish, I'm not very good at that. I will tell you that what I like about it that I don't like about division is that the enemies aren't bullet sponges. All the towns are copy paste, but sometimes I feel like going loud, sometimes can go stealth, other times I mix it up. I don't personally give a flying fuck about story, but what's there works to give you missions for shit to shoot. Also taking down The Predator has become a nice little obsession for me.

Go research it more, I'm sure you could find a cooler description.

Did they ever optimize the game to run better? I tried the open beta, but I couldn't stand it for too long since it stuttered like hell and was pretty much unplayable even at the lowest possible settings.

I'm a new player, lured in by guns so my opinion should be taken with a grain of salt. It's optimized well enough for me, I play on high settings. Some stutter occasionally, nothing that bothers me personally.

You go around Bolivia hunting down cartel members with your squad or a co-op partner. There's all the usual side mission stuff like stealing helicopters and planes while you collect new weapons and attachments.

If youre a /k/fag this game will tickle your sweet little pickle when it comes to the gear. Really good operator simulator. The gun customization is lackluster compared to Tarkov but that's to be expected. The gameplay reminds me a lot of Mgsv
