I only just started and got a couple of hours in. So far it’s been okay. I’m not really a fan of this genre of games so it’s all new to me.

Sad. Bloodborne is a decent game, but fuck, just remaster Demon's Souls you cunts. It's still the best.

It does make sense, pay more attention to your surroundings. Not even trolling or baiting, I've seen zero lore videos and already had a solid idea what had transpired about half way through the game.

I got it recently and have been enjoying it.

Tried Dark Souls 1 before and it didn't quite click for me like Bloodborne has.

I might get some hate for this but I wish this game had a map

You'll find them naturally as you progress, they'll just be on random corpses. Don't bother trying to go out of your way to find them. Also I suggest you change sound settings and bump up the music a bit. There isn't music often, but when it kicks in it's god tier music.

Yes, basically you just keep trotting along killing whatever is in your way that doesn't talk to you first and enjoy the fantastic boss fights. And as earlier anons said, wait til you get to Padre George Costanza. That's a good one.

Ended up giving up on beating Laurence on my first character, just went and killed MP, jesus christ what an easy final boss

What I think I've gleaned so far:

>Player character has amnesia since the blood transfusion which is why the game starts there
>Probably came to Yharnam to take part in the Hunt which might be an annual event
>The Hunt was an organised event to go hunt beasts but it turns out the beasts were actually humans who have been transformed by some sort of plague
>Hunters can become addicted to blood and go crazy
>The plague was actually caused by some blue ayyy lmaos called Great Ones
>The scholars at Byrgenwerth worked it out, made contact with the aliums and got turned into jelly
>Lovecraftian shit happens and alien mindrape is a status effect, called Frenzy for some reason

Tip for fighting enemy Hunters: use Ludwig's blade jumping R2. The AI can't deal with it at all. Just land a hit, roll away and do it again.

On the right track, consider the werewolf aspect and the fact that the moon in game is a full moon. How often is there a full moon? Why is the full moon significant? Could this be the frequency of the hunts?

Was the plague caused by the great ones? Why is the blood you are looking for called Paleblood? Who are the Choir and why was one of them at Byrgenwyrth? What does the choir want and how do they intend to achieve it?

There are tons of factions vying for more control or influence, and not all of them human.

Unironically every little detail in this game is plot significant.

-I think it is pretty beyond stupid that all the bosses can be co-oped but only some have npc summons in front of them.

-I understand what they were going for with Micolash but it was such a tedious and boring boss fight.
