does this game have ANY replay value?
Does this game have ANY replay value?
It doesn't even have play value.
FPBP
Sup Forums still seething over BotW I see
120+ GOTY awards and counting
lmao eat shit
But I thought game journos were all shit? Why are they suddenly credible when they give a game you like awards?
>caring about GOTY awards
How important is replay value when my first play lasted 150 hours?
No, but that’s how non-RPG open worlds should be. The game is so fuckhuge that even if your only goal is to fully explore it, it’ll take dozens and dozens of hours
What if he never thought
What if he never thought journos were shit?
Yeah, I'm still playing it even though I've done the story and DLC. I'm doing all the shrines. The shrines are fun, with the exception of those shitty combat ones.
yes u need to collect more seeds
>he doesn't care for the GOTY awards
t. fake gamer
I own a switch and it's by far the most boring zelda game imo
This. The ass sting will NEVER go away.
it means that you will never be able to play it again ever
No. It was great fun for the first 200 hours then it got boring.
they don't mean shit. any website can give them out.
yes
master mode exists so its a good way to replay the game
Dont you find the idea of finding 9000000000 korok seeds fun and awesome?
>all those 10/10 scores and GOTY awards and constant outpourings of adulation from industry insiders, rival developers, journalist and gamers doesn't count!
Must really burn you up knowing how much Nintendo fucked you in the ass and that BotW will be fawned over and celebrated for years to come. Just wonderful.
Nope, just a gajillion padded side quests and all those boring as fuck shrines.
*first 20 hours
*200
It's glorious isn't it. The butthurt is just so extreme.
The autism won't let them let it go but they have nothing at this point but the same small number of complaints to keep recycling whilst everyone else keeps praising it and looking forward to the inevitable sequel.
.
*20 of actual gameplay and 180 of running around lifting rocks
there are multiple endings, 2 difficulties and lots of shit to fuck around with.
id say so.
>Beat the game in 2 hours
>Spend 100 hours gathering korok seeds on empty map
Playing it once is enough.
I'm sure you said the same when skyrim received a ton of goty awards, huh?
>nintendildo cocksucker
People only like.it because they spent hundred hours in that game climbing mountains and got attached to ot because of the time spent, the same as in xenoblade 2 or P5.
Cosidering that I'm planning and hotly anticipating my 5th or 6th playthrough, yes it absolutely does.
it has more replay value than a typical Zelda or linear action-RPG because you can choose what order to do things, which means you can challenge yourself in ways you cannot in those other games
for example, lets say you played through the game and completed it 100%
in a future playtrhough you can try to complete the game in reverse order or only complete 25% of the shrines before trying to finish the main scenario
Also if you get the DLC you can play it on the hard mode which puts enemies in weird places and some other stuff
It does. I beat it on the Wii U and now I'm replaying it on the Switch.
Unless you wanna try fighting ganon without the master sword no.
It honestly does. It's a bad game that seems good long enough to get 10/10 scores.
Kind of like skyrim but moreso.
What is the point of this image? I've played and beaten both games, and I think they are both fine games. Fanboy-ism basically just tells everyone you are underage because mommy wouldn't buy you both.
>Breath of the soyboy likes cinematic trash like Tlou
Honestly not even surprising how shitty your numale taste is.
I can go to hyrule castle but once i beat a game I never touch it again because it gets boring. I wanna keep playing this game so I'm just gonna ignore the final boss for awhile.
The proper way to play BoTW is to burn yourself out on it, no meme.
The idea is:
>Start the Main Story.
>Do all the Side Quests.
>Find all the Korok Seeds
>Do the Divine Beasts(Four).
>Retrieve the Master Sword.
>Locate and Complete all the Trials.
>Finish the Main Story.
After doing that you'll be tried and want to play something else since you've already completed or done everything needed to finish the game.
My only gripe is that the game doesn't allow you to continue after beating Ganon, but places you back before you fought him.
I love making bait images built on logical fallacies!
Is that where you get the master sword? Don't you get like 5fps going into that forest lol. Your game runs like shit.
And trust me botw gets boring once you finish fast.
>My only gripe is that the game doesn't allow you to continue after beating Ganon, but places you back before you fought him.
I fucking hate it when games do this. Especialy in psychonauts.
how do you go through the game without wanting to kill yourself for having to do the shrines again though? they're already trivially easy the first time around, but at least they're novel. now you have to go through the motions just to pass time.
Is there a way how I can start a new save file on the Wii U without losing my old one?
Can I transfer the current save block from my Wii U to an SD card and keep it there, while I start a new one?
Do I get a second save file by purchasing the DLC?
Thanks in advance.
Is it even possible to go straight to Ganon even before getting the paraglider?
I restarted the game and I REGRET doing that
>2018
>nu/v/ still assblasted
holy shit botw fucked this place really bad
i guess thats what happens when you are the best videogame ever
No. The place has invisible walls. The moment you trespass them without the paraglider, you'll get the GAME OVER screen. Basically, you can send yourself out the starting territory via chopped flying trees etc, and land outside without the paraglider, but you'll GAME OVER once you pass the invisible range without eve you dying.
tons, literally the point of korok seeds.
but...but i hate video games!
lel
because shrine skips exist, you retarded whiner
I mean, it's not like the dungeons in previous zeldas were much different. At least there's more variety here
Of course. I've been trying to beat Ganon immediately after leaving the Plateau. It's hard as fuck
This.
BotW is pure trash.
It does burn me up yes. The only solace I get is from being right.
over 240+ GOTY awards
