5/7 Haven't played SH2 and REmake since I was never into Survival Horror during the PS2 days and then kind of forgot about them but the rest is very agreeable.

5/7 again. Witcher 1 was a bit too janky for me but I can definitly see how if you can overlook that it was a really neat WRPG in a time where Gothic was dead and Elder Scrolls turned to shit.

4/4 Best taste in Final Fantasies.

2/2 Can't say much since I got into fighting games way too late for VF and SNK Games but God Hand and EUIII are great.

Rhythm. It's made by Sega like Hatsune Miku games, but unfortunately most of the songs have been shortened from their full length. However you can play as any K-on and the tracks are "mixed" differently depending your character. Really solid gameplay.

pretty standard taste but nothing wrong with that, all those are fantastic except I don't really like Majora's Mask.

The PSP and DS versions are the best, just know that the DS version is ballkicking hard.

Every chapter you take control of a different character in a different time period, it plays like your standard survival horror Silent Hill/ResEvil affair but with the added twist of limb-based combat where you can cut off certain limbs and shit and an interesting magic system where you combine different runes to make spells. You also have a Sanity Meter, and when it's low (I strongly recommend you intentionally keep it low even though you aren't supposed to) youg et really cool sanity effects that fuck with the player in interesting meta ways. You also pick an Elder God artifact at the beginning, and it determines which Elder God is the main antagonist for the rest of the game and you have to replay the game against all three to get the true ending.

It's definitely a very rough game but I love it because there's nothing else like it, the magic system is pretty clearly unfinished but it's still very cool and the sanity effects are really, really cool and can really fuck with you as the player sometimes, it's also one of very few properly Lovecraftian games ever.

not the guy that already replied but Eternal Darkness is cool as hell, once you get in the swing of it and figure it out it's a blast
I will say that the very end-game is a bit of a slog with needless backtracking, trying to point those towers into the city was awful

also a good example of great voice acting, and the writing is good too

Well, I have played some like Chrono Trigger, FF VI & X, Xenogears, Persona 4 or Earhbound. But I didn't like them as much as the western ones. I don't like loads of uninteractive dialogue and shounen art styles. I do like japanese games like Majora's Mask, Dark Souls Shadow of the Colossus or Okami though.

Try SMT: Strange Journey. Pretty minimal non-gameplay sections, fantastic gameplay, and an amazing scifi setting.

I just bought the original on steam, never played it

It's more of the same but with somewhat better level design. Nothing to really write home about but if you end up liking Half-Life, which you will, and want more of the game it will definitely scratch the itch.

My PC can't handle much. It was able to run Doki Doki, but I doubt that one's a powerhouse.
I've heard about emulation and I have tried Gameboy and DS emulators, but Gameboy games are too boring and my PC couldn't handle the DS emulator. Everything was glitchy and slow.

That's unfortunate but I'm pretty sure your pc can run older games or indie games like Cave Story, Spelunky, or Binding of Isaac.

i just do it because i like the look of my 3x3 and it's stupid to spend a half hour in photoshop and then not post it online anywhere. but it's always fun to share it and find out what games other people here like. i try to give suggestions and encourage conversation, but when you get into a thread late it can be kind of daunting.

I honestly don't know why I do it, I don't really look at how people rate my mosaic and I just look at how aesthetic other mosaics are after I've posted mine. It's just become kind of a habbit. It's also just pleasent to make a mosaic and see all your tiles fit together and have them all be of works of fiction you love.

I use it to find games to play, I've played a load just because of these threads
if I see someone with games similar to my tastes and they have one I've never heard of I'll look into it, and you do get recommendations sometimes
it's also good for discussing games you like, or asking about games you haven't played yet when they have
