How difficult would it be to patch this hack onto a ROM?

No it doesn't. There isn't even a terribly noticeable difference.
Or you could just emulate the gamecube version, i'm not sure does it run 30fps but I know it runs better then the original version.
retard
It's the same as the original I have it
60fps increases it even better.

IT BROKE NEW GROUND
The problem with 60fps is that the animations were designed for around ~21 so boosting it to 30 gives a good improvement without speeding up the game too much

HOLY SHIT OOT IS RUNNING ON UNREAL ENGINE IN 60 FPS WITH MOTION BLUR
WHY DONT NINTENDO HIRE THESE GUYS
Uh if anims only have 21 frames then either lineaf frame interpolation or constant is what happens. Speeding up the game is for idiots.
it increase the QUALITY all right.
reminder that card sagas wars will never be released
Guys, there's been a 30fps patch for the GameCube version through Dolphin for years, this is nothing new
Doesn't the 3DS version run at 30?
sauce please
How many frames did the original go at?
Around 20, even as a kid I noticed how oddly slow it felt.
OoT on NTSC hardware runs at 20fps, and somewhere around 17fps on PAL machines.
Playing OoT3D which runs at 30fps was like night and day compared with the original (I only had experience with the PAL version).
I like the n64 version better. It feels heavier and more real with the low framerate.
Roughly how many frames per second is real life if you were to do an approximate conversion.
