Pressing spacebar in The Last Starfighter on Atari 800 XL would show a whole solar system and that you could travel between planets. Most of my playthroughs were about fighting first couple spaceships on Earth and then waiting for more until timer ran out.
Power Blade II on NES, after hitting start you could switch which power suit you wanna use. The tricky part was, you have no suits at the beginning of the game and for the most part I didn't check basic combinations later in the game.

I found a cheat on Shenmue 2 back in the Dreamcast days. I never saw it mentioned anywhere (also I wasnt able to reproduce it again on another playthrough)
The cheat would allow me to win on the highest stakes dice gambling table on the main city of the game by holding the two triggers of the controlers. I would win ALWAYS, without exception and made so much money that I never had to work one single time with Ryo.
I tried to repeat it again after some years and it didnt worked so I dont know what were the conditions for the cheat to be enabled
