So much of this board is people who haven't realised or accepted that shit has changed in the world. 2018 is so different from 2008. It's literally a different generation of users here who grew up completely differently to those who came before. Streamers and Youtubers are such an integral part of video games today and that's all some people know. They don't know about what came before on Sup Forums because they were literally (hopefully no younger than) 8 years old 10 years ago when let's plays and all that shit started. The vidya world has changed and far too many users on Sup Forums are still stuck in their old ways. I don't anything will change their old ways but you have to understand why you have e-celebs and whatnot. It's because they've literally always been a part of video for a lot of users which is why those types of threads are so common. This place is basically as close to mainstream as you can get without being fully mainstream. You're gonna get those threads. Either catch up or move on because old Sup Forums is dead, video games as you knew them have changed, shit's different now and it ain't going back.
