Any given subject, there is some subset of people who have made it their life's work to rage at that thing, and they would like nothing better than to shit up the thread about it. There is no cure. A smaller community may or may not be garbage, but any sufficiently large community is guaranteed trash.

It's like my various depressions over the years have robbed me of anger. Whenever I get fucked over by something I just sigh deeply.
I'm usually pretty intense IRL, but I have some pretty fine emotional discipline, however, most competitive oriented games tend to stress me the fuck out because they always put me on edge and makes it hard for me to just relax, so when I fall into a losing streak, the mix of the stress and excitement, anxiety and frustration from losing turns into explosive anger, but it is very very rare that I will get retarded mad at a game and stay mad at it. My anger is passive and it dissapears quickly. More often than not, when I start to realise I'm starting to get angry because of videogames aimed at children, I just stop playing. It's better for my nerves and once I get angry at a game I can entirely forget about even hoping to play well and I would just end up losing again.
The only time I got retarded mad at a game I smashed my controller. I did it once in my life and now, the most that I'll do if I get angry is insult the other player like a salty bitch, make fun of my opponent to my roommate as a cop-out for getting bodied because I suck, go on rants as to why the game is unbalanced as hell to my roommate who doesn't give a fuck and doesn't even pretend to listen, then close the console in ragequitting frustration because I wanna spare myself the humiliation of exploding in anger like a 5 years old spoiled toddler.
