when you're playing a game you're not enjoying, do you try to beat the game (either to keep trying to find enjoyable moments in the game or just to be over with it) or drop it after a while?
When you're playing a game you're not enjoying...
drop it
sometimes I don't even finish the games I like
Cut my losses and just stop playing.
Any good ranma doujins that arent hypno or rape?
Dark Souls 2.
Just keep playing it, tricking myslef into thinking I enjoy it until I hit 200 hours and realize how fucking ass it is.
tends to be the former with me even though the latter is more sensible
I beat it so I can say fuck you motherfucker afterwards
Any good Ranma doujins that aren't Ranko and Ryouga?
I try to push on until the end but if it really pisses me off I drop it.
Marlow Briggs for example is a really charming God of War ripoff that I liked at first but it got pretty stale and soon had nothing new to offer, but I was invested because I liked the characters (the mask was basically the mask from Crash, and the batshit insane evil chinese business man is one of my favorite kinds of antagonists) so I forced myself through the end for the sake of completion.
On the other hand, we have Xcom: The Bureau: The Shitty Title: Declassified which was such a massive fucking disappointment that about halfway through when the audio bugged out I alt+f4 - uninstall - refund.
tl;dr Lum is best Rumi girl
I drop it. Last game to do this was Xenoblade. Got tired of the endless tutorial pop ups and linear paths when everyone said the game was "the best open world ever."
fuck you Lum
Drop. Sunk cost fallacy comes to mind.
Post more Ranma.
delete this post right now
kyoko is also god tier
bump
I wish. I'd love to see a really nice Kodachi vanilla one. That isn't incest.
>no enjoying it
>drop it
>for a while
>A WHILE
>A WHILE
AHAHHA. Fuck that. Once I put it down its down.
I never deliberately drop a game, I just quickly lose interest and forget about it. Then when I remember and try to pick up where I left off, I don't remember anything about it so I wind up putting it back in my backlog before the cycle repeats
even if you disliked the game?
I've found that I can usually find some enjoyment from any kind of game, even with genres that I'm not familiar with. There are some exceptions sure, but for the most part I'm not at all as picky Sup Forums is as a whole
I usually just drop it. If I'm not having fun with the game, what's the point of playing it?
>when everyone said the game was "the best open world ever."
That's an immediate red flag if somebody says that to you. Especially if Nintendo fans are saying it.
