What the fuck was his problem?
What the fuck was his problem?

I always figured he was supposed to represent the player or some shit
lmao
He was just trying to conquer the universe until that god damn hedgehog got in his way
God Subspace was truly terrible
he throws a little hissy fit which is probably exactly how Sakurai sees his fanbase
it really got tiresome after playing for maybe 2 hours
UNTIL NOW
fag
And then it just keeps dragging on.
Great Maze is the honest worst thing I've ever done in any video game.
>Subspace unique enemies have health bars instead of a percentage system that makes it feel like Smash Bros
>Nintendo enemies barely behave like they do in their normal game
>The great maze
>Platforming is incredibly dull
>Every level lasts twice as long as it needed to
>Bossfights aren't as particularly good
>Cutscenes all boil down to Nintendo characters staring each other down and then dramatically nodding and then that's you're party for the next mission, outside of that there's a smattering of decent action moments and zero moments of characters personalities bouncing off of each other (which is the biggest reason to make cutscenes for a crossover)
>The great maze
>On top of all that you have to play it on Brawl's engine
Subspace is fucking garbage. You have awful tastes.
what the fuck is your problem op?
Too fucking retard to beat it?
Don't forget that the gravity has increased a bit
Everything you said also applies to Adventure Mode you fucking delusional meleefag
No it doesn't, all adventure mode enemies are based on knockback and not health bars or the fundamental mechanics of their origin series. The platforming in the lava area of the Zelda stage and the metroid timed bit is better than anything platforming wise in Brawl. Melee and 4 feel much better to play than Brawl so their content is much more enjoyable as a result.
The Smash 4 character reveals were infinitely better than the Subspace cutscenes. Smash 4 also has infinitely better boss fights in the updated Master and Crazy Hand and Master Core than anything Subspace had.
Neither game has anything even close to as badly made as The Great Maze. The Great Maze is one of the most poorly designed things to make it into any video game.
>Meleefag
Smash 4>Project M>melee>64>>>>>>>>Brawl
i liked how it took SEGAs intevention to defeat the big bad that Nintendos guys couldnt
guess SEGA truly does what Nintendont
Oh come on, the bossfights were good and the levels were... okay-ish. I agree that the Great Maze dragged on for way too fucking long.
But really, what was wrong with the boss fights?
Uninspired and slow. The bosses sit there letting you wail on them for a ridiculously long amount of time and then do one move and then go back to sitting there letting you wail on them. They should have designed bosses in the traditional Smash fighting system with a moveset and percentages that you fought on a stage. Just slapping healthbars on Smashbros, especially when it plays as sluggish as Brawl, is just a bad fucking idea.
You try living in an empty void for eons.
I just want some lore for the guy ok please just some information on who exactly this shmuck is in context to the series
The fact that you include project meme in a fucking Smash ranking proves how retarded you are
Just some anime bullshit the SE team thought would work but didnt
>have freedom to use ANY nintendo IPs as ideas for levels and enemies
>all generic setting levels aside from the one small section outside of Meta Knights ship
Melee's Adventure mode was 10x better than that shit and was 10x as short.
>People other than me are hating on Subspace
Thank god, I thought I was the only one who hated it.
fuck off supermarket emissary was basically a Kirby game with your favorite nintendo character
The Great Maze was Great Cave Offensive as fuck
I can't remember what the theory was exactly but some people were saying since Master Hand is a kid playing with his toys, that Tabuu was his parent throwing away his toys.
>supermarket emissary was basically a Kirby game with your favorite nintendo character
Like I said
>Platforming was incredibly dull
It was kirby lacking all of what makes kirby good like charm, good level design, good enemies, variety of gameplay, etc.
And Sonic the Hedgehog is his learned autism coming to fully engulf him ensuring he never truly steps into adulthood.
It all fits perfectly
Everyone hated it when it came out. Only now after the next game has released does Sup Forums say it was good. Not that they actually think it's good, but Nintendo changed something so they have to be contrarian and not like it.
Subspace Emissary helped me realize how shitty Kirby games are.
I agree, IF the story was about suvspace absorbing different places, then why in the name of fuck weren't they ACTUAL places from vidya instead of generic as fuck plains?
Realized that too with Zelda games. Nobody here "liked" Skyward Sword until A Link Between Worlds came out.
These.
I liked SS when it came out, and I liked ALBW when it came out. I still like both of them now, and I prefer SS.
I've heard that he's supposed to represent society's disdain for video games as an art form or an acceptable hobby for adults.
>Sonic, the embodiment of autism, destroys him
I didn't realize Subspace Emissary was a comedy, fucking Sakurai
...
You didn't refute anything he said, retard.
I always liked Skyward Sword. Not the best 3D game but it was good. The motion controls are exactly why people should play it, it offers an experience none of the other games can.
lmao
Why the fuck is Project M even part of your rankings? Might as well include Minus at that point.
You got a problem?
They should do for Smash Bros what they did for BotW and Mario: Open world systems driven SMASH:
>SUPER SMASH BROS FREE FOR ALL
>All terrain is destructible and dynamic, like terraria but using polygons and can be fractured/broken pieces, with a custom 2d physics engine like Box2D but optimized for extremely large numbers of terrain pieces at once. Pieces can be picked up and thrown, you can dig holes with spikes, break walls, displace dirt, etc
>Elemental proliferation like BotW: Fire, wind, electricity, etc can spread through the terrain
>All multiplayer stages are made out of fully destructible terrain
>All fighters have their abilities interact with physics, elements and terrain
>Open world single player side scrolling adventure mode like Subspace Emissary but entirely contiguous and explorable like Terraria
>New online multiplayer mode: FREE FOR ALL lets you play in an open world server with hundreds of other players at the same time, exploring and fighting in a massive stream loading world. You can join in allied teams from one console, and will be placed in the world near other teams.
I agree with ypu but it didn't lack charm at all. The cutscenes were pretty amusing and the original enemies were so silly and weird that I genuinely loved them.
Skyward Sword did everything that Breath of The wild shoud do but better
Yeah I do, big guy.
???
No.
The next game needs some bigger, proper dungeons and just more of everything but Korok Seeds. Just expand on what BotW did and listen to feedback about the shrines and lack of dungeons.
Just play Smash Tour! Its not like you wanted a cool city trial mode with a possibility of online on BOTH consoles right??
>BING BING WAHOO 1-UP
>HUH HIH ZUUUAA HEEEERRR
>FALCON PUNCH
>HAAAAAI
>PIKACHUU
>HA CHAA
>YOU'RE TOO SLOW
>NOW
I don't blame him if I were to hear that shit for all eternity.
I see your tadtones and raise you one Water Temple.
The swimming was the only awkward part of the game and the tadtones were the only part I legitimately did not like.
Crazy Orders is infinitely better than Subspace so it's not like like Brawl pulls ahead or anything
>obnoxious filler content conspicuously shoehorned in to drag out the game
vs
>incredibly good top tier dungeon with one minor and ignorable design flaw
How so?
>incredibly good top tier dungeon with one minor and ignorable design flaw
You know who designed the Water Temple?
Aonuma
All I know is he had a kickass boss theme, and his instant kills fucking sucked at high difficulty levels.
Mom said it was his turn to play
Oh hey, its that guy who borrowed most of its moves from a clown.
How can you have taste this shit
Theres nothing to like in Subspace Emissary faggot.
The bosses speed scales with difficulty, I enjoyed them on the hardest mode.
Yeah maybe if you hate fun
The best part of Subspace Emissary is the pikachuxsamus shiping
Can you consider Tabuu as a Kirby villain, seeing that its design and inspiration doesn't look too out of place for that universe?
