>mfw my mom is the one at the top
Dumb bitch, I don't want the food at home, that food is shit!
i'm sure your mum is doing her best
is your mom 2B?
Why is A2 John Mulaney.
that's just how the meme works user
Please do not bully Nines.
nou
>as a child thought being an adult and being able to go to mcdonalds whenever I wanted would be rad
>as an adult I rarely eat out because it's cheaper to buy produce and make meals yourself
Kid me would be so disappointed in me.
in addition to being more affordable homecooked meals taste better and are healthier anyway
not that I'm a fast food prude or anything. I just prefer cooking for myself (usually)
How do I into cooking bros?
My parents were the top one, but replace Mcdonalds with ANY fast food place.
cooking mama is a good starting point
after a few weeks of that move over to senran kagura bon appetit
Really ? As a kid i liked pizzas and steaks. Now i cook and make own pizza and steaks the kid in me became king.
>Dumb bitch, I don't want the food at home, that food is shit!
...And McDonalds isn't shit?
What I do is just throw random ingredients into my cart as I shop, then when I get home, I google recipes using whatever the fuck I just bought.
Dunno man. Chef brigade or something something. Run out of house naruto style and chop up some living things outside then harvest back home and cook like chink.
start with scrabbled eggs. Or fried egfs, if you prefer. Or boiled eggs if you're disgusting
>His mommy still provides him with food
>my mom is the one on top

Just start cooking whatever dude, most of the things you make will most likely suck the first couple attempts
There was this guy on /ck/ who had this radical idea to make 2 fried eggs each day, quarter the eggs and then season each quarter differently to try out different seasonings and see what does and doesn't taste good
Cooking is 90% about experience and 10% about the fortitude and will you bring into the kitchen with you
And another like 80% is the sharpness of your knife
Put metal appliance over fire/on a cooker
Put oil on it/fill it with water
Wait until it gets hot
Put food in
almost anyone can cook user. if you can follow instructions you can cook
get a recipe that looks good, make sure you have the necessary tools (y'know, pans and spatulas and food processors and shit), get the ingredients, and follow the recipe. google anything you don't understand (like cooking terms for example)
only suggestion would be to keep it simple at first, then move on to stuff that looks a bit more advanced after that. really you'll have to be your own judge when it comes to cooking aptitude. if you find yourself getting into it, *then* you move on to cooking technique tutorials and all that fun shit. how to hold your knife, proper ways to cook things to get the desired outcome, etc.
but you can absolutely start by just picking a recipe and cooking it
>Get Blue Apron trial discount
>Follow recipes exactly
>Buy all the equipment you don't have based on the recipes (which shouldn't be much, but you DO need to do it)
It'll get you over the beginner hump.
Is Mulaney famous now? I fucking love that guy.
get a meat. Cook it, season it to taste. Get a vegetable that you like, bell peppers, mushrooms, and lettuce are good starting points. Make rice, boom, meal that covers all food groups and isn't terrible. Google is your friend. Invest in spices.
isn't the black coffee thing a john mulaney bit
Pick a protein and some sides. Prep it how you want then heat all the shit up until its done. (unless served cold) Add seasonings if you want. It's simple bro.
Is this the new normalfag meme?
yep
There's literally nothing wrong with being a normalfag
this
How do I cook? I just have a bedroom, and access to a bathroom. I can't have a fridge, or any sort of heating devices.
I think the most complicated thing I can make is sandwiches. Although I don't have any condiments, and any toppings spoil nigh instantly so I just make bread sandwiches
this hurts me to read
I know you're joking, but.
>Cooking food.
>Manage to cut something nicely or cook an egg well.
>"Perfect! Just as skilled as mama!" pops into your head.
>Imagine little bits of praises like "You're doing great!" every now and then.
>Automatically feel a little better.
Does anyone else hate steak? I've never eaten a steak and said "wow, that was good". I've even had some good steaks classier places and they still taste bad.
how do you end up like that?
borrow a friends kitchen in return for making them food.
>how do you end up like that?
I live in Vancouver. This is what I can afford.
>borrow a friends kitchen in return for making them food.
All I have are work friends, and they live too far away to make that sort of deal reasonable
funadmentally, yes? but you eat it because it tastes good, not because its healthy you faggot
go apologize to your mother and tell her that you love her
Yeah, you were probably dropped on your head as a baby. What's your favorite food, let me guess, chicken tenders?
Pizza and Rotisserie chicken. Steak is so unappealing to me and I don't understand the deal with it.
Okay this one made me laugh
Yeah. It's just meat. You have to do something to meat to make it edible
>chicken tenders?
Sure, breading chicken makes it taste good
I tend to find that great Steak is great, but a lot of steak is very meh.
cooking your own food feels very nice, but something is missing
i wish i had someone to cook for
I hate steak and any meat with bones in it honestly. Not sure but the bones make me gag, although i've gotten used to wings. If I have to eat meat i'd rather it be poultry or fish, hamburger if it has to be red.
>a fucking leaf
having food at home is based as fuck.
>It tastes good
I don't even want to imagine what kind of life someone who thinks McDonalds tastes good has led.
>i wish i had someone to cook for
Cook for mama, user.
Is A2 evil?
14 year old me tasted a real burger once and i have never had mcdonalds ever again
Jesus Christ user, unless your parents kicked you out you should live with them and help pay bills until you can get a steady job and a real house/apartment.
>tfw pajeet
>good at cooking
>that's the only thing I'm good at
If I don't kill myself in a few years, if we ever meet you're welcome to try the curry I make
bread + curry is great
Someone's been taking notes from Shokugeki.
Having people rave about your food and is one of the most satisfying feelings you could have.
