I wish it didn't have such low durability. Doesn't add anything to the game other than me being annoyed that I have to go and repair it more often than other weapons.

It's mostly memes. It's good for PvP but desu its too slow and deals too little damage for most PvE situations.

I'm a huge fan of primarily elemental based weapons, so the ability to slap on a shorter duration bolt paper at will for the weapon was a big draw for me.

Skill users already got a whip, why can't strength bros have a whip of their own?

It's like the claws, there are better weapons for acting as a crutch to make up for lack of skill but it's fun as fuck to use if you aren't a pussy.

what level do people usually stop leveling at in this game?

I can appreciate that every weapon is so viable, but I do think that the axe and saw cleaver are a bit too good. There are other weapons that are far more effective overall, but they take more skill to work well while axe and saw are easily the most effective weapons in the game for a scrub.

For PVP? Good dungeons start at 100-120, combat is usually 80-90, for PvE, never, really, I have a character that's already over 200+ level on NG+ 4, I think.

axe is not THUNK except one attack in one handed mode, axe is 100% a pleb weapon.

It's not useless at all, actually, it staggers enemies like crazy, try it against Micolash and you'll rape him, it's hilarious, you don't even waste stamina and instead gain it, so you can shoot, approach slowly and when you're on their face attack.
