Mech Warrior 2

Bump

Kirby Planet Robobot

Steel Battalion
unless your a poorfag, then check out any of the Gungriffon games.

Dynasty Warriors: Gundam

Zone of the Enders 2. Only good mecha game, and I think they're doing a remake soon.

Armored Core series

Zeonic Front.

Mobile suit Gundam: Zeonic Front.
You are fucking piloting those Zakus. not controlling them like every other 3rd person hack and slash.

heavy gear 2

its MechWarrior on wheels with a metal gear solid crawling mechanic and space missions, same game engine as MechWarrior too

BROTHER?

Nothing else even comes close to MW2. Mercenaries with its little branching mission options and economy system is pure kino.

Zeonicfrontmind

Listen to these two dingdongs. Zeonic Front is a great game.

works on PS3 as well.

Just don't let any liberal friends see the disc.

IT'S BEEN TOO LONG!

>See this game's trailer
>Get super hype to be a badass drift-shooting mech
>Find out you can't do anything and the trailer was just bullshit
>Playing the game while upset, at least I'll derive some entertainment
>Wind up getting so good that the shit that's done in the trailer legitimately looks in agonizing slow motion compared to an average ACFA match

God this game was the best real robot game ever made.

>They shutdown GBO months ago
I regret not getting into it.

how aids is HAWKEN these days?

Doesn't matter either way, because it's being shut down soon.

I'm surprised it hasn't yet, it was dead on arrival.

>Mission 6

gundam: rise from ashes

Soon

>Gen4 casuals
The big boys stick to gen3 AC.

I recommended the entire series.

Did you ever break the original Nineballs, user?

steamcharts.com/search/?q=hawken

It's dead, Jim.

Gundam V. Zeta Gundam is the only one I've genuinely enjoyed for years.

E

D

F

Honestly the change from gen 3 to gen 4 was so dramatic that you can take them on their own merits and enjoy them as damn near entirely separate game types.

Gen 1-3 Encompass the classic, slower style

Gen 4 is the cuhrayzee fast style

Gen 5 is...5.

It depends on what you're in the mood for. When I want something more methodical and weighty, I go with 2 (and 2AA) or 3. When I just gotta go fast, I go with 4A.

>just gonna collect data, don't want to-
>AMURO LAUNCHING!
>oh no...
>ONE!
>TWO!
>THREE!
>FOUR!
>FIVE!
>SIX!
>MISSION FAILED.

>Ctrl + F Zone of Enders 2
>1 of 1 result
what the fuck is wrong with you niggas, it is easily one of the best mech games

...

Omega Boost was better.

>One

>Two

>Three

>it has one third the active players as LawBreakers.

Swords>Guns
fite me nigga

My nigga

Any chance it emulates well?

I'm not into futanari so that's probably why i preferred boost.

Great game. Brigador is a lot like it.

When it was truly considered the white devil.

If you can find a copy of the disc.

It's been like...5 years since I've last tried emulating it, but I remember it being alright. Few visual glitches but nothing major.

Xenogears

EDF

>futanari in anyway related to ZoE or Boost
Now Im lost

what is this

a shame brigador controls like shit

HIGH SPEED ROBOT ACTION
youtu.be/ingxee5RowU

Did you forget the most "iconic" part of the mech design in those games?

Overrated shit

this

I see your point, a fully vulnerable cockpit would turnoff a lot of people

what's some good mech anime

God I wish they would make a ZoE 3. And not the shitty Evangelion crap they semi pitched with artwork.

Weren't they doing that before Kojimbo killed it for MGSV?

Fafner series is pretty good, if you want something that's recent.

I picked the right time to get a PS4

Heavy Gear 1 and Heavy Gear 2

Nothing before or since even compares to how good those games were

I like Front Mission but you don't really pilot mechs just move them around a bit

>tfw no VR mech game

A VR super robot game would be cool.

I remember when Tips & Tricks magazine had entire sections dedicated to Heavy Gear.

Gundam and Macross are the obligatory recommendations. Patlabor is my jam. Also Votoms is good too.

You're thinking of Armored Core. They had a monthly AC column.

...

It's also coming to PC with VR support on PS4 and PC
Project Nimbus on steam can tide you over if you over until ZoE2R comes out

The new Mechwarrior game looks really good, it's gonna be a mercenaries game where you run the company.

They just did some gameplay demos a few weeks ago if you Youtube "Mechwarrior 5 Mercenaries"

why don't they have any feet

They have magic agrav and don't need to stand.

tfw no Macross game made by Project Aces collaborating with Kawamori

Flag and Gasaraki

I remember the cell-shaded one being very good.

The PS1 game is closest you're gonna get on that one. Great game.

youtu.be/TiQh8wm_75A?t=277

user, please tell me what this is. I know its Muv Luv

when you spend 99% of your time flying, feet aren't that important

Where should I start with Macross? Is it like Gundam that has a million series or is it just one thing?

It's called TSF Forefront iirc
It's a long dead project though.

I'm still mad.

It's only a few series. just start with the original. It gets super lame in the latest releases, they focus more on magical girls than transforming airplanes.

>TSF Forefront
im looking at youtube right now and holy shit
>all those red dots on the minimap

Goddamnit I wish this got made, probably wouldve been great

Macross only has I think six entries and two of those are just four episode OVAs. Regardless the answer is always production order.

You say that like the best Macross isn't about a magical boy.

Still better than this tripe.

Fantastic game

Well yeah Delta was shit, but not because of magical girls.

what is this, a fellow fafner fan on Sup Forums? i was just about to post this.
seconding fafner.
fafner is really good but only 10 people outside of japan has seen it, thanks to the original series from 2005 being painfully mediocre as well as hirai face mixed with the worst of the 2000s, everything from 2010 and up is pretty good though.
it's also still getting stuff, i recommend getting into it
youtube.com/watch?v=IRgMLIseD9k

holy shit
what the fuck did they do

It's not that bad once you get used to it.

Hawken

They took the concept of girls singing to defeat aliens and went way too fucking far with it.

Ooh, xebec.

Is this 2022?

but the original fafner series was great

Gurren Lagann. That's it.

Yeah, most of 2202 is shit, but it was the first webm of yamato in my folder.

That would have to be a real Macross series to count.

>having taste this bad
Gurren Lagann was made to stop people from aokigahara and that's it.

Evangelion
