Im only serious about Street Fighter really
No, not worth the time learning it when everyone is going to be playing fighterz in two weeks.
Think its really gonna be that bad?
You had literally 2 weeks to get gg xx core plus r at 80% off.
sale ended yesterday.
I mean there's always gonna be a small pocket of weebs you can play with by digging up moldy dead discords but yeah fighterz is gonna be the thing in two weeks.
best fighter on the market imo
No
Guilty Gear is a much more fun videogame.
arcsys games barely have a player base on release
wait for the next one which is db fighterz
If you have friends to play with and Rev2 is on sale, I would get it. Don't listen to retards ITT who are going to claim that Guilty Gear will have no players when FighterZ comes out. It's not like Guilty Gear players jump to the newest ArcSys game like NRS players jump to the latest NRS game otherwise everyone would be playing Blazblue (they aren't).
I have not friends to play fighting games. They're all overwatch playing inbred retards
Then don't bother with GG unless you have to actively search for players in discords.
meant want, not have
What exacly is a discord? Cant you just search for games?
You can but there's very few people online.
Discords are game communities with voice chat and text chat. Most GG players have to scrounge up matches with the GG community discord because there's so few people online playing at any given moment.
People saying you have to scrounge for discords don’t play the game, there’s a lobby up for all regions during most hours
Bullshit, I’m on PC and I have never had to look for a discord. The guilty gear general doesn’t even use discords to find games
thing is, the small pocket of weebs is totally gonna move on to Dragon Ball too.
its gonna be pretty dead except for the few people who are serious about guilty gear in your region.
but those few are gonna be too good and make the game not fun.
Dragon Ball will have a somewhat healthy community of various skilllevels cause its dragon ball.
except for PC where its gonna be dead until its 60% off on a steamsale
I thought the PC dies quick was a meme.
every fg except tekken and sf dies on pc after a month.
dude, PC starts off dead cause nobody buys games fullprice on PC, except for people who love Anime fighters and dragon ball, those people will have be really dedicated to the game, and be incredibly good at it, making it not fun to quickmatch against other players/lobby up
Fighting games in general have a very niche audience.
then when there is a "good" steamsale that lowers the price a bunch, people will get it who are interested in Dragon Ball but not in Fighting games, or vice versa.
Dragon Ball Fans will drop the game and Fighting Game fans will play it until the next big thing comes out (or they go back to street fighter after a month)
either way, getting a fighting game on PC is crazy unless you are really into it and play it every week to keep up with the top players who play on PC.
like sure, you will always have at least 60 or so people playing, and you will always find a match, but the matches arent going to be fun because there will be very few people at your skillevel.
unlike those games you listed GG requires dedication and that is the problem since this game's pretty much dead outside of Japan. XRD is an excellent game and one of the best fighting games ever made but if you only gonna play it for a couple of weeks that is not enough time to even learn just the basics.
The game's too deep, too many mechanics and it's a nightmare on pad... It's a hard game to recommend if you are't a hardcore fighting game enthusiast. Not to mention the few people that play online are elitists that will beat your ass and won't play you unless online matches are 3 frames or lower.
