I am, and most likely always will.
I got an used laptop just recently with pre-installed W10 Pro x64, and even with its extra options + various personal tweaks and hacks, it's been a fucking nightmare to use.

I'm fucking glad that Vulkan has become such a big success already, meaning I don't need to worry about the DicksuX 12. I wouldn't be surprised if my W7 Ultimate would serve me well all the way to mid-2020s, but I might start dual-booting it with some Linux distro in near future. I could already run most of my favorite games of all time on the team penguin OS, and shitposting on Sup Forums would literally not change at all.

you're thinking this the wrong way around.
It's the games and their devs that decide what API they run on. If you're kind, you can still make games to run even on the now ancient DX9, like surprisingly many modern games still do. At the moment, there's like what, THREE DX12 exclusive games, and all of them are trash.

Only way to force people on W10 is to make a game DirectX12 exclusive, because while the DX12 tech is "backwards compatible" to even the oldest DX11 cards from ~2010, you NEED the W10 operating system to be able to use it.
MS tried this with DX10 already in late 00s, making it a Vista only thing, but everyone knows how that went.

Meanwhile, Vulkan is opensource, open platform, FREE "API", that performs better than any DX so far.
It's thanks to it, and the kinda improved OpenGL support in recent years, that so many recent games have been available even on Linux, right out of the box.

There's been tons of these programs. None of them 100% block telemetry and spying on W10, because the system itself is designed around that element.

Plus, if you manage to isolate W10 from all connectivity for an extended period of time, it will start self destructing. Not even kidding.

Is that only if you use edge or explorer? Or does it do that even if you use firefox or chrome?

i'm using 10 for the first time now and after a week of carefully changing everything to not be annoying with regedits and third party software i can say it's finally almost as good as 7

There was this pretty big IT guru doing experiments on W10, proving how goddamn extensive the 10's spying is. Once he managed to isolate and block all the built-in "services", the system simply ceased to function.

It does not matter what you use or what you do. All your actions are monitored and sent to MS.

I've got my first month behind me, and that's the highest grade of compliment I can give W10. It still does not make its overall design, backwards compatibility, user-friendliness, GUI design or even safety any less shitty.

I have had to do two major system restores, allow some multi-gigabyte updates and use tons of user made tweaks and programs, just to restore some very basic functionalities to my OS, including but not limited to actually clicking anything on the Taskbar, or installing / activating AV or VPN software on the thing.

This. 8.1 is pretty good, and you will get important security patches longer than with 7 since it's newer. Too bad about 10 though.
