This. Fight. Isn't. FUCKING. FAIR!!!!
This. Fight. Isn't. FUCKING. FAIR!!!!
>bl4 run
>this fight
>living failures
>easiest souls game
>always get my ass beat by giant monsters in fromsoft games
>bloodborne lets me fight 3 humanoid size boss enemies for once
>enjoy myself
it was honestly relaxing
Play demon souls and dark souls 1 again
ok
brb
But 3 is by far the easiest
they're weak tho
>Shadows Die Thrice
What did they mean by this?
Did I stutter you nigger?
How do I beat this guy. Only Souls boss I have yet to kill
>always get my ass beat by giant monsters in fromsoft games
>Nioh makes me fight two human boss enemies at once
>get PTSD
When I first played the game I wasn't prepared for it but I sure did enjoy fighting these guys. When the game first came out there was no summon for them so consider yourself lucky if you're really having trouble. Attack then dodge rinse repeat, but if you're good wait, parry, visceral repeat
Very easy boss, very fun
Say that again?
Never stop sucking his dick, like always, roll into him
t. Nintenbaby
Your're not fooling anyone
Get good at crowd control, use bigger weapons with larger swings that cover more area and learn to dodge and parry.
It's an endurance test more or less, be patient and careful and you'll be fine
Bunch of fucking babies, just play the game.
Those were fine on BL4. Its Mergo's Wet Shart that drove me insane.
mergo can suck dick if the fuck keeps riding up against the wall
Midir is easy, just stick to his head
Use this thing.
bloodborne is the most overhyped game in this entire series and it really blows my mind how hard people dickride it. had to force myself through it.
I've never died to these fuckers. First playthrough I played ring-around-the-tombstone until the first two died, then I just wailed on the last guy.
Ever since then, I've just abused parries and bone blades.
>can't beat the Nazgul
parry
>Oh nice, just killed sister friede. That second phase wasn't too bad now that I figu-
>there's a 3rd phase
>die
I fucking suck
>man Dark Souls 2 is so SHIT because of these bosses that are a lazy group of mooks!
>fastforward to BB
>Shadows
>Rom
>Mergo
>Madman
>Watchers
>One Reborn
>Micolash
>Queen
>Living Failures
>putting common fucking enemies as bosses such as "Maneater Boar" and "Brainsucker"
>OMG GOAT GOAT, TOTALLY not Dark Souls II-2!!!!!
Here is a fun game, go ahead and count alone how many lazy giant groups of enemies Bloodborne has. Despite being a much shorter (and unfinished) game Dark Souls 2 has less group encounters
Dark Souls 2 group encounters feature enemies with poise and the attack animations for the player are way more sluggish and shitty.
Then don't play it instead of cherry picking threads to complain on because YOU didn't like it :O)
you forgot Royal Rat Ayylmaothority and if you are counting reskins then countless other chalice bosses and Cleric Beast: Nacho Ranch edition
What? I can understand you calling that person a PCfag or an Xboxfag cos the other souls games are mutiplat with Bloodborne being the PS4 exclusive, but "nintenbaby"? They've never gotten any souls, period, so why would he have a grudge against that souls game in particular compared to the rest?
Are you just obsessed?
splitt them up with the big grave stone two cunts on one side one on the other
This fight wasn't hard at all. It's a lot easier than some solo monster fights.
Don't face fuck him like every other Dark Souls III boss, it doesn't work. Stay a mid distance away from him.
I always kill the sword guy first with parries as he's the easiest one to kill, then evenly hurt the pyro and torch guy so that when I kill one of them I have to worry about the sneks coming from the ground less when I'm dealing with the last guy. I still died to these assholes 9 times.
that's not a souls game retard
This fuck alone is worse than even the weakest group encounter in Bloodborne. And the Gargoyles and Ruin Sentinels aren't much better.
>Rom
>Mergo
>Micolash
>Living Failures
>Bad
wrong.
Staying mid range practically opens him up for free hits, he uses that flying strike much more to reach you and it's easy to bait him to do it.
Really? Okay so just level up if you cant do it. Simple. They were challenging but i liked em.
Well it isnt a souls game.
This was one of the easiest fights for me but Soulsborne bosses have always kinda been different strokes for different folks
>hate this asshole when I fight him
>gush about him afterwards because it's just such a fucking cool fight
Nothing makes me feel like a battered housewife more than the souls series and kingdom hearts 2 lvl 1 critical mode.
Focus on one enemy.
Nobunaga is my waifu
>Orphan of Kos
I had the same experience, couldn't even be bothered to finish it first time, playing again now and having more fun but probably still bottom tier in the franchise.
I think people only like it because they want to defend PS4 so when an IDORT plays it it's just a normal game, not the figurehead of their system.
Beat him on my third try with vials to spare. Viscreal attack does a fuckton to him.
Not to mention shit like the sheer number of rifle enemies in some areas. Far worse than shrine of amana
Different user here, I actually bought a PS4 specifically for Bloodborne initially and it has become one of my favourite games of all time.
>focus on one
>other 2 attack you
wow great advice
Not my fault for you being retarded. Bloodborne isn't even that hard compared to other Souls games.
you're dumb then
One of the only souls bosses I've beaten on the first try.
just finish it and then feel free to share your opinion
Never said I was smart.
bros I just bought Dark souls 1, 2 and 3 after wanting some more bloodborne style combat, but you guys are saying Bloodborne is too easy? Am I fucked?
wrong.
that game is baby ez soybopy
the fuk u talking about lmao
just like go play barbie dress up or somehting
You're wrong
Focus on the most aggressive one (the one with the katana). If you just back away from the 3, he will always be the closest one for you to reach with a counterattack anyway. Then kill the candle one, and finally the fireball one
Why? What sets it apart from Dark Souls? It has a worse healing system, a worse parrying system, worse online, it's shorter, it has less ways to play, less replayability, FPS is terrible especially when cooping, a lot of bosses are just terribly designed, often being so large you can't lock on to them, but if you don't lock on your dodge isn't as good.
I really do want to understand why people like ITIF it isn't just brand loyalty.
Someone type the noise they make when they slash at you
>HUMMMPF
>It gets good 10 hours in
No, after playing bloodborne most things will be pretty trivial after you get the swing of things. desu I think most people consider bloodborne and darksouls 3 the easiest because they had played most if not all the games before them
Bloodborne is fairly easy compared to Dark Souls.
Although, you'll have an easier time going through Dark Souls now having played Bloodborne.
>focus on one with the katana
>there are 2 with the katana
geez you guys really are helpful!
>these wafer thin "criticisms"
just fuck off retard lol
I played DS3 after many hours of Bloodborne (also my first game like this) and I found it to be hard as fuck, with the Ringed City DLC being basically impossible
*Teleports behind your argument* psssh, not an argument kid
The one with only the katana and nothing else.
You know, the really aggressive one.
>tfw Bloodborne bosses are easy as long as you stay close and dodge at the right moments
I'm barely playing it and finding the bosses kinda easy, I usually beat them on my second try. My friend called me an idiot when he saw me use my "strategy" against Gascoigne.
None of these are as bad as the Prowling Magus Congregation or Royal Rat Authority from 2.
haha wow years old memes how funny, seriously end yourself loser
this was do easy I thought it was a joke. died once, did it second time. the reason I call it easy is by luring the group to the big tombstone it breaks line of sight and a.i. pathfinding letting you one on one them easier. Once I figured it turned into a huge joke, never even saw them cast the huge area of effect snake spell either cux lol kirkhammer. I'm going to impregnate the doll replica with 4 kids.
Im playing DS3 on PC and recently picked up BB
The only 2 gripes I have so far with BB is the occasional frame rate drop and poor camera management. Quite often the camera throws the environment into my face, blocking the screen. Statue or something that was behind me is now the entire screen. etc.
This was legit my hardest fight in my first run, including DLC, mainly because of the giant snake attack
Turns out you must always have enough vit invested so you can survive the bullshit 1 hit kill moves that so many bosses have for some reason. Do that and the game becomes way easier.
>bosses too big causing camera to fuck up
which absolutely baffles me the moment I walk into the first DLC boss (Ludwig) who is a giant beast they do the unspeakable, absolutely madman decision of
actually zooming the camera out so you can see him
I refuse to believe the DLC was made by the same team when they actually did basic adjustments THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE FROM THE START
Bloodborne is a Souls game where they sacrificed everything that made Souls good to turn it into a garbage action game and then they got actual talent to design proper Souls levels and bosses for the DLC
>level up your health and you survive more hits
holy shit sherlock imagine that
I got really mad at bloodborne, everyone was shitting on dark souls 2 for groups of enemies and then bloodborne comes up with all these multi target boss fights that are just no fun allowed, Rom, the shadows, the living failures, the celestial emissary, all piece of shit fights that made me regret paying 20$ for the game, fuck from software
Bloodborne had group encounters designed in, though. You were faster and weapons had more hitstun, so dealing with groups was more manageable.
Dark 2 had group encounters because the devs didn't have enough time to make properly challenging encounters so instead they just filled up rooms with ten of the same enemy and it was a pain in the ass to progress through any area.
Turn off camera auto adjust senpai
TL;DR Bloodborne feels like a complete game, a feeling I never got from the other Souls games.
Honestly? The presentation first and foremost, more than anything else. The way Bloodborne is presented makes it a far more cohesive experience than any of the Souls games, and it helps a lot that it deals with themes I'm personally interested in.
The combat itself feels incredibly satisfying, from the sound effects to the way your character moves and attacks. Having a wider moveset for each weapon than the other Souls games is also really nice, too. Gives you a lot more options for tackling an enemy. Of course, there's a flaw in the fact that some of the particularly cool weapons are late-game only. That flaw's present in all Souls games but it's particularly noticeable in Bloodborne because of the fact that the number of weapons is far lower than the rest of the series.
The way the world is designed is also very appealing to me - I'm a huge fan of Metroid, so the sprawling, interconnected nature of Yharnam and surrounding areas (much like Dark Souls 1's world) really stuck with me. Traveling from one area to the next felt very organic, even when you're moving from one layer of reality to another.
Of course, that kind of falls apart when you bring issue of having to teleport to the Hunter's Dream to restock, when resting at a lamp should've done that for you, but...well.
I just really, really like the game.
>more hits
Nice reading comprehension, lad
Are you american by any chance?
Bloodborne is such a terribly designed game, I finished it with the starting weapon because there's nothing else that hits as hard and as fast, what a fucking let down.
Ill give it a shot, I figured fiddling with a few options might help. Thanks.
Bloodborne isnt a Souls game, get that through your fucking skull. If you have some retarded expectation that it *should* be like Dark Souls then please just shut the fuck up. You want Dark Souls? Then fucking play Dark Souls
Oh, there's one thing I forgot. I really like how BB encourages a very aggressive playstyle by way of the PC being extremely agile, and you being able to restore partial amounts of lost HP by attacking. It helps balance out how aggressive enemies and bosses are, and gives incentive and reward for the player being aggressive too.
Too many times during DS3 would I find myself subconsciously trying to rally back lost HP and eating dirt because of it.
only way I play dark souls 2 is with great weapons like the Flintstones club. charged gives hyper armor and poise breaks them to the ground letting you repeat upon their wake up. the WORST OFFENDER is the lost bastille, the game engine was not tested to handle this with such a low stamina regeneration and frustratingly slow Estus and shard recovery. seriously dark souls 2 is flawed but there is so much content I give it a free pass.
Haha wow years old way to tell somebody to kill themselves still not an argument
Maybe take your own advice brainlet.
How is that "terrible design?" If you had actually used them, you'd have seen that almost all the other weapons are just as viable at killing enemies as the starter weapons.
See, I don't really get this myself. People always praise Dark 2 for having the most stuff, for being the longest, having the most options for build variety.
But it's just stuff. If the basic gameplay and game design is so heavily flawed all the content is just stuff, just pointless faff.
>Each boss only took me a few tries to beat
I don't get why everyone always says these bosses are so hard. It's just trial and error. I also summoned NPCs for every boss.
Your "argument" just entailed you saying "this and that mechanic are worse" and "only reason people like bb is brand loyalty". Like seriously no way you're actually that fucking stupid and ignorant right? Why are you so angry that people enjoy a video game?
Totally my favourite fight.
The only thing I didn't like was the giant snake monster at the end.
You have this intens back and forth and that snake thing totally undermines it.
It's like playing a game of chess and right as you're about to checkmate you have to dodge the swing of a baseball bat, it felt really weird.
You can deal with groups a lot better than in DaS2
i was playing against this motherfucker today died and just turned the ps4 off. fuck that bastard
I hate when fags on the internet play internet tough guy and say that BB is easy because you just dodge even though like all the other soul games the enemies track your movement mid attack and a more accurate answer is that you can just dodge everything so long as you time your dodge or parry at the apex of their attack correctly with i-frames. Which is easier said than done (like everything on the internet) since some of the later bosses have some crazy and subtle cues that lead into 5-hit combo attacks and if you're not the internet tough guy every user on Sup Forums is you might fuck up a button press and eat shit and die with no recovery frames. Items all feel useless too because if you don't have the boss pattern down you'll just die and waste it and if you do have the boss pattern down then you don't need the item since you'll just dodge the attacks correctly anyway. I still enjoy the game but I hate posturing faggots. Yes I'm confessing that I failed to press circle correctly sometimes.
