By using the best girl.
Just do the bread and butter combo. Break, Topple, Launch, Smash.
Also learn to cancel
The game is designed to be played with one hand
this is ridiculous, her tits are twice the size of her ass
who drew that and thought "yh looks good, posting it"
Read what your talents do.
Practice.
Can confirm.
When I got stuck in an easily winable fight, in a risky area with higher level enemies making running harder, I'd go make a coffee, take a piss while letting it play itself.
I feel like in most instances, the reward for doing well is by saving time in battle, or for having your blades do specific things so you can max your affinity chart.
Took me a while to get what the fuck an elemental burst was. It seemed absurd that there would be enemies so powerful, you could spam 3 or more level 3 combos to get orbs, to get bursts. By the time you do that, it's just going to be overkill.
Is this game censored?
no
That depends on how much of a Nihon worshiping weeb you are. If translating
>[Sexual thing]
>EEEEHHHHH HE SAID [sexual thing]????
into a more subtle joke is censorship to you then yes, otherwise no.
Visuals/Characters are fine.
>tfw it does bother you
Even in that case, you still have the original script thanks to the presence of dual audio, you just need to know a little Japanese so you can pick up on the differences. In case of visual edits, you have no way to experience the original content.
A good amount of the lewd dialogue was toned down in translation, but nothing was changed as far as visuals. Its dual audio, though, so if you're that much of a fucking weeb you should be able to listen for the sex-words anyway.
Do non leader party members user their fourth driver art or is it only the 3 they have equipped?
Your dedicated tank should never have a healer blade or they will instantly lose aggro when they pull the healer out. It is okay to run 2 tank 1 attack if no one else has a tank blade, and I've even heard of 1 tank 2 attack main tank setups but I find I still pull aggro as with 3 attack on that setup even with anti-aggro cores. You should either be running a dedicated healer or throw one healing blade on each non-tank,
HP barrier seems really good with tank, even though I have no idea how it works. Blade art CD on skill-based setups like zeke/pandoria strength attachments is disgustingly overpowered.
Only the 3, I believe. Easiest way to test would be to put a topple/launch/smash ability on the 4th slot and see if they can use it in a chain, because they always take priority to do so.
They only use the three. I exploit this by putting Driver combo arts I don't want them to do as the inactive art and they don't use them.
Do you have Morag yet?
If so, open cores on her till you get a katana with agi mod (or 2 of them if you don't have Aegaeon yet)
Give your katana blades core chips with +50 agi as a special effect.
Equip Morag with an accessory that gives % agi and one that heals on auto attack
Equip Brighid with an aux core that heals on art use
Morag will become practically invincible with that set up and solo the game for you, including letting you take down enemies at like 15 levels above you.
You've got to play as her to get the most out of it though because the AI, left to it's own devices, will actually switch to the stat stick blades and you want to just be using Brighid.
For offense, just make sure the rest fo your party can make blade combos that involve Fire
So like Fire -> Water -> Fire or Earth/Electric -> Fire -> Wind
You're guaranteed to have good rare blades for setting up those combos.
What actually changes when you select easy mode on Tiger Tiger and is there any reason not to play it on easy?
There's a dot next to your high score if you play on easy.
1. get mythra
2. give her a chip with good crit %
3. equip rex with crit dmg and crit healing accessories
you can now stomp everything in the game
Is it normal to get smashed into the ground over and over in the open area of chapter 3?
Everytime I go around I get rolled by lv20 birds, lv80 apes or get killed by lv10 wolves that summon packs of wolves and anything else to kick my ass.
Slowly working my way to XC2
Just finish Xenoblade X, and that ending confused the hell out of me.
I'm just starting Xenoblade 1 on the 3ds.
What am i in for
>I'm just starting Xenoblade 1 on the 3ds.
>What am i in for
Pixels, more pixels and blurry as fuck fonts that you can't read.
Yes, the area is designed to fuck you when you first get there (damn birds)
To get to the town unmolested, what you want to do is take the southern path across the island with the level 40 crabs because they aren't actually aggressive enemies.
A good dub and good ol' god-slaying. I'd recommend to either XB2 or XB1 and finishing one of them first before starting the other, instead of simultaneous play.
>What am i in for
Alvis is the Monado
Bionis is the true villain
Oh I did that and I just got to the part were I picked up the bird dude and his robot waifu.
I was trying to do the sub quests and just keep getting gang banged.
Should I just stick to the main quest for now or are they doable if you grind like mad?
Just rest at the Inn and spend the exp you’ve received as quest rewards to level up if you need to
>blurry as fuck
I see that, but I'm playing there for portability.
Got both the Wii and 3ds game from a eBay lot, along with the other two games.
>Just finish Xenoblade X, and that ending confused the hell out of me.
I liked the twist, but only if they follow up on it with a sequel, otherwise it's just cruel.
I can't get over Pyra's outfit, what were they thinking? I know Mythra is supposed to be superior in every way, but come on.
I'm going to put Att blades on everyone and go full offense on superbosses. How risky it is?
>what were they thinking?
Probably muh dick or something like that.
Holy shit, Perun's boobs literally never stop moving. Even when she's standing still there's a sight bounce. It's almost impressive how not even Pyra holds a candle to these physics.
Disgusting
Give every team member the pouch cake that automatically refills arts, this has improved the game by 300% for me and made it actually enjoyable, fuck auto attack filling shit.
Cancel your autos, then learn the "cancel Arts into Arts" affinity as soon as you can
Do you have a full party of three yet, or are you trying to do this with just two characters
>Its a Quest that requires field skills you don't have
>pull first 4 cores in torigoth
>4th one is Ursula.
How'd I do, bros? Is it worth to overdrive it to Nia? Are there really only a few?
You mean translated?
There's a few characters with heals on attacks/crits, so it's doable if you have the right accessories/aux cores/affinity levels.
>He opened cores on Rex!
>have blown over a hundred legendaries looking for KOS-MOS, her or the bunny
You lucky bastid
Overdrives are very rare, you get three throughout the main story, and one for filling out a drivers affinity chart. After that you have to find 4 star level blades max their affinity chart and release them for a chance at getting one
>Pass a field skill check
>Behind it is ANOTHER field skill check
>rolling on Rex
Yes, Ursula is worth overdriving to Nia
Be aware that you'll only get 2 more overdrives, and you'll get more only very late in the game
Also if you buy the season pass you get some in the "useful items" gifts that come with it.
Considering you'll be playing as Rex most of the time and that you won't be getting a certain feature until much later, rolling on Rex isn't a bad thing if you don't want to abuse the Inn XP.
Legitemately what the fuck is the point of having two skill checks? Couldn't they just put the requirements into one check and stop me from having to re-arrange my blades twice?
Ursula is great because she can heal with regular attacks wich is amazing, so yeah i’d say its worth it but be advised that Overdrive Protocols are hard are the rarest items in the game, you should at least wait until Mor Ardain to bloq up a protocol, who knows you might find a blade you like it more
So it doesnt become borderline impossible to stack all the required field skills in one go.
That would make it much harder to pass.
What they really should have done is make field skill checks use the same system that lets you know if you have the prerequisites for a merc mission or not, and if you can, just fucking passes it without needing to rearrange your party at all.
It's to provide some use for the common blade and using the merc feature. If it's only one check, you can mostly use your rares and never look back. Two checks means you need your entire party to have all the skills at once, which is usually only possible with common blades.
I just want the game to open to the blade menu and let me select the Blades to use. I don't mind field checks but the game just needs better menus to fully utilize them.
Can the scottish accents get any more incomprehensible?
Make a start on her affinity tree as soon as you can if you want to max it. Its by far the longest in the game.
How far is that?
The only ones I really want are kos-mos, Kassandra, and theory.
I didn't mind rolling on Rex at first because I want at least one or two blades on him.
Mor Ardain is in chapter 5
If you get an axe on Rex than stop rolling on him, thats all he needs
>it's on a ladder
>can't open menu
Two of those you get out of quests, so no biggie
You can get two of those once you get to Mor Ardain so it's cool
MMMMmmmmm DE-LISH!
...
Wait what?
Where do I get Kassandra and Theory?
Visit the information broker in Mor Ardain to get intel on the greedy monster then go to the salvage point and salcage till it pops up
I think you need Morag in party to start the other one, just go hang around Gormott in the area you fought Padraig and it should trigger.
>you will never experience this
Cute how she moves her ears at the end there :3
learn how to quickly swap between blades and chain skills like break and topple
>When I got stuck in an easily winable fight, in a risky area with higher level enemies making running harder, I'd go make a coffee, take a piss while letting it play itself.
Are you me?
Of course that depends if your teammates aren't utter shit.
I mean Rex and Nia alone can already take care of break and topple with just their base blades, and that's not even considering any other blades you end up rolling.
>Not putting these two on Zeke
It’s like you don’t even want your own chunnni eyepatch squad faggots
Neither of them have chuuni personalities.
Theory is basically worthless, no good abilities
That's just obnoxious design on purpose.
Praxis is absolutely chuuni. Did you not do the sidequest?
>straight up copies zeke’s eye of shining Justice sphiel
>That level 4 special in general
>air jump at the end of a really tall ladder
>don't have the right blades equipped
>can't access the menu while on a ladder
Literally the only chrome katana user better than theory is Aegaeon, and he’s so goddamn boring I’m willing to take the hit to minmaxing to use Theory instead
>land of Morytha
>climb a fucking skyscraper
>there is a check right at the top of the ladder
>fuck up team comp to pass a field skill check
>switch it back
>get into a fight and get knocked off a cliff
>respawn before the check and have to do it again
She literally did that in threatening big sister way. The rest of the quest is her running around trying to appease and apologize to children, getting excited over baking cookies and shit. She is as happy go lucky as they get just bouncing around and oozing with optimism and glee.
by blasting this
youtube.com
>not liking "THE TORRENT WILL SCOUR YOUR BONES"
Is it ever a good idea to mix blade types on a character. Like having TNK, ATK and HLR on Rex?
If it is not a good idea, what happens if I get a TNK blade on Nia? I'm fucked?
>Xenoblade 2
>Games that get good 4 hours in (When Rex dies)
>Games that get awesome 60 hours in (chapter 7)
>Games that get unreal 70 hours in (chapter 8)
Got Azami on Nia, who should I overdrive her to?
Kind of want to pair her with Morag, not sure how viable that is tho
If you are the one controlling them yes
Nia can't use tanks because she doesn't have the base stats for it
Blades add a modifier to the stats and different arts, you have to find combinations that make sense
Nia can use ether based ATK blades for example Azami
>just bouncing around and oozing with optimism and glee.
Agreed, that's exactly how I'd describe Praxis' tits too.
Never a great idea to go jack of all trades because the passive bonuses you get are all jacked up, you'd have to overdrive the tank over to someone else since having just 1 tank blade in a lineup will do jackshit if you actually wanted to tank.
Just play the Wii U version
What is this SnK?
Thanks pals. Got Finch on Nia and was not sure how to use her. I guess I don't.
Every time I hear this song I almost tear up. ; _ ;
>tfw rolled Boreas as my first rare blade
>on Nia to boot
>tfw nearly maxing out his sphere grid by chapter 3 (just spam food)
Honestly it really only matters if you actually WANT to use the blade a lot. There isn't enough content in the game to use all the blades to even come close to maxing their affinity trees. You can get infinite overdrives if you grind hard enough though so you can set up your preferred blade combinations endgame if they transfer them over for NG+ for subsequent playthroughs.
