They've made a shit heap of crappy games that DS2 doesn't even get close to
... what? Fromsoft produced before Demon Souls literally Z tier trash (aside from a few niche favorites like Armored Core and Kings Field), Dark Souls II is maybe the lowest point in the franchise, but certainly not from Fromsoft, they produced literal unplayable mess before that.

Dark 2's flaws come not from the content, but from the game design. It was incredibly rushed and unfinished, and the advertising was complete lies right up to release.

I only just started and haven't had a chance to level up but it took me like 1min + to kill that guy with the big axe and these kunts with bricks take around the same, seems harder than it should be.

That executioner axe guy is tough for a first area, he's optional though. Shouldn't take more than a few hits or a parry to kill the brick trolls though. Check the workshop in the hunter's dream because your weapon might be low on durability?
Cane is weakest option earlygame but the moveset is amazing and it becomes a beast when you upgrade it and level your skill, scaling is insane

happy you threw ruby in there, I thought everyone loved the 3rd gen games? I always found them trash though, the music especially put me right off them, and all the pokemon were so tryhard and uninspired, especially after 2nd gen.

I never understood why people say he was hard, he took me like 2-3 tries first time. I can't think of any of the bosses in Bloodborne that are hard but fair, they tend to either be easy or just frustrating like Rom. The camera in that game is so broken. Still easily the worst in the series.

Resident Evil code Veronica X: introduced the "i can be affected by the virus but only effect is i get super powers" thing with wesker
Resident Evil 4: introduced the actions elements that progressed RE to leave horror and be about action and powers (qte, melee attacks, ganados with guns, krausers powers and arm, etc) while also simplifying puzzles
Resident Evil 6:all action, zombies shooting, jumping, meleeing, puzzles basically gone, viruses are basically a joke and anyone can get them, sherrys powers but only during cutscenes, intelligent zombies, clones, action based gameplay including dodging/rolling/jumping in all directions/sliding/crawling. Nothing similar to the original vision of the series aside from the characters who dispite encountering a new virus every time dont seem really threatened by them unless it personally affects someone around them
Of them RE6 is probably the worst RE to date and has the worst story. Personally id love to see more small scale outbreaks like RE7 that eventually leaks into a city

Comets are spammed and spiders distance varies, so sure you know they are coming, but you don't know when exactly so you still need to see it before you can dodge unless you just make an educated guess

Don't be so greedy then. And the comets have a set pattern on how they work so you should have gotten the mindset on how to dodge them when you hear the audio cue.

This. RC was a good ass DLC but AoA was fucking crap. It was short , had mediocre weapons , had only 1 maybe 2 good short ass areas and 1 boss was awful and its only good feature is a over hyped 3 form endurance boss.

It has the best PVP in the series but its PVP is still lack luster. It still has its own meta that is awful , it still has shit like in the arena you can get matched up with someone level 838 and they take little damage and 4 shot you atleast.
People can still lag slightly and warp you into back stabs well other people do the same exact shit and all they get in the whiff animation so not only does lag hurt even slight lag fundamental changes shit. People talk about hitboxes but then some spears have giant cones.
To try and act like DaS2 PVP besides being the best Souls pvp is a great pvp in the long run is kinda asinine. Its flawed out the ass and is just the best because DaS3 has awful hitboxes and is even more shallow and BB never had a proper arena with 1 vial pre set so if you play that cancer 90% of people are chugging and its usually ended with a guess parry OHK which is always just boring as fuck.
I won't even mention DaS1 and its literal mash R1 with some weapons pvp and glitch fest and DeS PVP was pretty bad but invasions were good.

Friedes Scythe looks awful and its fun to kill edge lords using it mashing WA.
DLC2 added so many better weapons with actual unique weapon arts. You could atleast say Onyx Blade Valor Heart and maybe Milwood Axe because they added unique WAs and were the best of the first DLC.
I wanted the dumb great axe to be good. I thought when you used it on a player even if it would be easy to dodge the shockwaves would track them but no its just under you.

Crow quills is just an upgraded estoc. WA is useless but you can just equip crow talons and parry with that

Very few of the bosses are interesting, it relies so much on enemy mobs emerging from off-screen, and backstabbing just feels wrong (even though the animations are cool).
It's funny because I would closely compare this to Castlevania and Castlevania II.
Castlevania is a well-thought challenge with the perfect marriage of enemy & level design.
Castlevania II places enemies in your way for the sake of making your progression slower. You don't feel accomplished for clearing an area because all you did was swing your whip until the coast was clear.

Okay tell me. Besides a parry with hornet ring and in which case you cannot list the weapon as killing in one hit since every 3 hit parry crit weapon will do the same. Its only R1 combo is R1 R1 which since it cannot be buffed will not OHK. And so you're left with the one argument

And everyone stopped using rapiers when they got nerfed for baby ass straight swords better in almost every fashion for PVP.
I can kill most people with the QH in the arena but its still crap. Anyone with half a brain can react to its entire moveset so you're left with having to read someone who probably won't swing until its 100% safe and might stuff your hyper armor anyways.
