What game has the most satisfying flamethrower weapon to use?

Far Cry 3.

I literally can't think of a single game that did flamethrowers right.

Most just feel like supersoakers

COD: WAW

I forgot to also add the Flamethrower tank variants from Company of Heroes. It causes any infantry unit to just shit itself and go into a full blown route.

Far Cry 2 has more advanced fire dynamics for some reason. How can anyone prefer the sequel that downgraded the mechanic?

Factorio. The only game that understands flamethrowers shoot burning liquid not fire.

FC2 was also an absolute ass to play, with respawning enemies and absolutely empty world that is even worse than FC3's

Some might argue that the flamer in Unreal 2 The Awakening is the only good aspect of that game.

Darkwood

...

Deus Ex 1.
Witcher 3's Igni.

>malaria
fuck, wasnt that mechanic the worst thing ever to put in FC2 ?

tf2

FC3 and everything after went overboard when they were trying to fix what was wrong with 2. Basically everything that 2 did wrong the next installments fixed wrong.
Enemies respawn too quickly and there are literally no friendly NPCs?
Let's make it so that cleared outposts are permanently populated with friendlies and that late game has hardly any enemies left in the world.
Stealth is incredibly hard and unpredictable and there are no silent melee kills?
Let's make everyone except sharphooters blind and all melee attacks completely overpowered, and on top of that, let's allow players to put silencers on antimateriel rifles.
Taking out a convoy driving around the same stretch of road gives you an unlimited supply of weapons in exchange of a few diamonds?
Let's put gun unlocks behind Ubisoft Radio Towers™ and still give the player an unlimited supply of weapons.
Weapons degrade too fast and have to be discarded instead of maintained?
Let's remove degradation altogether.

Anyone got the gif/webm of the COD guy doing 360's and killing like 3 people with the flamethrower?

Nevermind this is it. I'm curious now about games that do flamethrowers properly

BLOPS, if only because you could randomly pull it out as an underslung weapon and it was just hilarious to kill someone with it

Nu-cod is so fucking dumb

I don't think it's a shit mechanic but it's pointless in a game where you can get a replacement any time you want free of charge.

Fucking killzone 2 you plebians

>there will never be another Duke Nukem game where you can use a flamethrower as a jetpack

THIS IS A FLAMMENVERFER

THIS.

>console FPS

Halo, you gaylords

Unironically this.

It werfs flammen

RS2 Vietnam by far

>Witcher 3's Igni.
this is going too far, is there literally no end to the lengths cucker shills will go?

Came here to post this.

how can one drive and aim and shoot at the same time?

there are some mods enhancing weak vanilla igni, so its actually lethal

Tanks are crewed by more than one person.

Im pretty new in men of war games. Once I switch to manuel fire tank stops moving
