Assassin's Creed but with the bare minimum of effort to improve it over 2.

Well, you shoot robots with your bow and uhhhh roll to dodge attacks and uhhhh
IT LOOKS FUCKING AMAZING UNLIKE YOUR BRAP OF THE WILD YOU FUCKING SOYTODDLER

The only ope world game that can be compared to breath of the wild

Requires you the player to be proactive in being strategic. You cannot just fire arrows and expect to take out the enemy. You actually need to exploit the unique weaknesses of each enemy.

Mainly focused on stealth at the start since enemies hit like trucks. Once you get to the Sundom and can purchase Shadow weapons which are incredibly cheap for what they do and throw some handling mods on them you break the game. Shadow Ropecaster with 3 45%+ Handling mods tie down anything in seconds, Shadow Sling using a couple Freeze mods freeze anything in three bombs, and then your Hunter Bow's Hardpoint Arrows shred through enemies. Tearblast Arrows from Sharpshot bows tear anything off any enemy in two shots which means any attacks they could throw at you are basically gone, and the DLC just gives you even more ridiculous weapons.

Basically, it gets really easy incredibly quickly once you can actually buy decent weapons. Even in Frozen Wild you can just tie down those Daemonic machines like it's nothing and then just freeze + triple Hardpoint them in the face with a Banuk Striker Bow which does about 900ish damage fully cocked. The game is still about exploiting things like fire on Snapmaws, Glinthawks, and Sawtooth variants, but if an enemy isn't made of ice just freeze the thing. The materials are abundant to spam it.

You get to play as a female protagonist, isn't that special enough?

Play on hard, you're forced to lay traps and constantly switch arrows types to hit different weak points on the big enemies. Everything kills you in 2-3 hits. It's very satisfying.

Play with one hand, you're forced to switch between hands to move around, aim and lay traps while carefully not dying. It's very satisfying.

>Laying traps
I'm on Very Hard and traps are a complete waste of time. Not only are you forced to shoot at the ground but enemies tend to avoid the tripwires. You are better off either using the Ropecaster to just tie something down or opening up with two Freeze Bombs to inflict Freeze then immediately switching to your bow, nocking 3 Hardpoint arrows, and then shooting them at any weak point at all.

If you play on Ultra Hard and can't aim you are going to have bad time. Enemy armor stops almost all damage.

Play it with your eyes closed and only one speaker, not only you don't know where you're going but you also can't use your ears to tell where the sound is coming from, you're forced to trial and error your way through without getting lost, killed or selecting the wrong dialogue options.
It's very satisfying.

The movement and animations are really good, the melee is simple and kind of clunky but feels decent. That's everything good about it. The bow and arrow is hitscan. Yes. Fucking hitscan bow and arrow when it's your main weapon throughout the whole game. Fucking Oblivion in 2006 knew to make the bow and arrow a projectile weapon. Your bow in HZD is a laser rifle that requires no leading, no vertical compensation, no skill. It's the most unsatisfying and generic bow gameplay in any game I've played in the last 4 years.

Stealth is decent at first and gets extremely OP to the point that it's hilarious. Play the game for 8-10 hours and you have unlocked enough perks to basically turn the game into a QTE simulator that one hit kills over half of the enemy types. The art direction is great but they did not make a dense world, there is really not much to explore and almost zero reason to explore in the first place. It's a 6/10 game.

>The bow and arrow is hitscan.
It's not. Fully taut you still need to lead your shots against moving targets, any bandit camp with moving people will prove this. It's incredibly accurate as long as you're fully taut, but the arrow itself is still a projectile and subject to gravity instead of being like a bullet.

>subject to gravity
You know soyniggers are desperate when they literally have to lie to defend their game.

I got bored 6 hours in, after the ceremony where everyone dies and you learn how to mount the robots. It's incredibly pretty, but it's also incredibly boring. Also the vertical movement sucks. Everytime there's an objective ontop of a mountai or on top of rocks, you need to run around it to find the magical yellow rope that serves as the climbing point.

They're subject to gravity in the sense that you have to lead your shots, it's not arrow drop like BotW which does it a lot better. I'm strictly speaking when someone is walking you need to aim ahead of their head a slight bit in order to hit it with an arrow.

Nu-Tomb Raider style. Fighting robot dinos is fun but you'll spend half the game just killing humans.

But that's not gravity my man, they just fly straight, its neither gravity nor hitscan, they are straight projectiles likes the Soldier's rockets in TF2.

Nah the arrows will eventually drop if the target is far enough away. They don't just fly straight i have tested this.

>gameplay only
still a sjw for supporting it fag

Pretty good gameplay i would say, you can't just spam heavy arrows against the biggest enemies, but you need to actually have a strategy
There are 4 weapons slot and lots of custom arrows/ammo
The gameplay sucks when you fight other humans

did a buzzcut nu-dyke cuck your dad or something?

>but you'll spend half the game just killing humans.
t. didn't play

Killing humans is like 30% of the main story and only 15% of the entire game.

Not him but he’s right, it’s literally sjw: the game.

Why would you even want to play that soyfest?

...

How much soy would a nu-male have to consume to enjoy this garbage game?

Game with all the bird-shit ledge climbing of the entire Uncharted series, the Tower Checkpoints of the FarCry series, the combat of an easy-mode Monster Hunter (G-rank insect glaive? G-rank insect glaive.), stealth of the later Assassin's Creed games, and levelling/upgrading like the later Deus Exs contained in an open-world. I liked the game, even if the story was a little heavy handed with the men=bad women=better shit. Aloy was cute enough that I'd dick her down for days (but I mean, C'MON freckles, low-self image? I can only get SO hard.)
